Watching the Beg-a-thon was almost unbearable, and not for the reason you think - I wish someone in her chat would have asked her, just what was so damn funny that Chantal was laughing at.
Of course we know, and even Chantal knows, nothing was funny, and it’s just her awkward stress response dialled up to 100.
The proximity of a child to her, an unpredictable, disabled one at that, plus the expectant family looming in another room with dollar signs in their eyes, she was a giddy, giggling mess.
One person almost cured her of it, like a human shock collar, but now he is out of action.

At first she acted like a giggling buffoon around Nader too, reacting to his every utterance (whether she understood it or not) like it was his very own Netflix Comedy Special.
But soon he started calling her out and humiliating her on camera in front of her audience, saying, “why you laughing”, when she giggled after reading a straightforward superchat.
She must have been totally exhausted trying to hold in her socially anxious, flattery giggles around him. That’s probably why she had to go home and sleep at the Villa most of the time!
