Might be an automated thing, lowering the background music volume whenever the mic starts picking something up. As for clip farming, that would make sense, considering how he gamed the whole Youtube Shorts system.

I think he'll always have ball washers. When someone gets this big there are always always people that are sunk costed so hard they will never crawl out of it. The thing I've noticed about those people is they like when their oshi starts losing people, the less people crowding the chat the more attention they can potentially get. They hope and dream of becoming Gator Kronos. These people are always mentally ill and deranged in some way, the kind of people someone with a million followers would probably prefer not to have around. They're your Anisa simps, they're your Adolwolfs, they're the pilled out old wine aunts that defend Nick Rekieta, they're your dented mongoloids watching DSP get trolled. That's Mald's future and those are his people.

It still kills me that all of this trouble could have been avoided if he would just simply humble himself just a tiny bit. If he had just once said, "Oops, I fucked up, I am sorry". Even back to the roach thing, I think he would have garnered a ton of goodwill if he just said he made a mistake and offered to help out those WoW players level up new characters. Even now, he could at least get some sympathy from nicer corners of the Internet if he just acknowledged that he was wrong about what SKG is proposing. Instead he looks like a liar which is not a good thing to be branded as.

Thank you again to all the people in the EU who signed. This thing will not just help the EU, it helps everyone who wants to keep what they bought even right here in the US. It doesn't affect any of the games that I play now but it will definitely affect ones that come out in the future. The Crew was an attempt to see if people would let them take an inch and the mile is coming.

If I recall correctly, there was some talk and a clip of his mentioning a question of how he can listen to the heartbound soundtrack on stream, for the length of the stream, every stream, without it being grating to him, and he responded with that it has become just noise to him that he doesn't even process, or something akin to that, so I must assume that he is hearing the music that is being played on stream.
I don't know if streamers do so, but I would assume that a lot of streamers that have music on their streams would set it up so the streaming software pipes the music audio into the stream without necessarily having that audio playing on their listening devices.
If he is listening to the music that is being on stream then it is natural to turn that down or off when addressing something or speaking, as it is a distraction. Personally I would/do so to too, I find that listening to music takes a considerable amount of focus.

This is an utterly ridiculous statement for him to make. Insects make up most of the animal diversity in the globe and interact with numerous systems. The possibilities are near endless as to what avenue one would pursue as an entomologist.

They're agricultural pests. They are significant vectors of disease for both humans and animals. That's two areas in which there's a significant industrial sector he could've worked in with just an undergraduate degree.

There's also tons of academic gaps that would be easy to slip into with the right level of education. New insect species are discovered constantly, there's still plenty of aspects about their physiology that are poorly understood (I think it was only within the last decade or so that we understood how mosquitoes see, which is extremely important in their control). Hell, this year was one of those extremely long periodical cicada emergences which is another poorly understood system.

I'm not an entomologist and have zero interest in it - like many things he's talking out of his fucking arse about something he claims to be knowledgeable in.

The way jason described research and field work in that clip is exactly how I'd expect a coddled privileged nepobaby who looks down on others to react when his lecturer mentioned the possible degree career paths.

I first dived into his content after diremaul(i got a few clips in 2023 but found him uninteresting and unproblematic), and it's insane how much of the BS he spouts is just to denigrate others, how did people like this guy in the first place??? Half of his clips are just him denigrating other people's work lol(sometimes deservedly, but mostly just BS and badly recounted anecdotes)

Somebody else compared him to DSP and I'm really starting to see it. The whole personality is just (1) I am great and never wrong at all, and (2) everyone else is a fucking moron hahahaha I can't believe how much insight I have above every other living soul that has ever existed.

He also reminds me a lot of DarkviperAU, minus the blatant paranoid schizophrenia of course.

Has a massive ego, hidden by a humble exterior to show to the audience and that humble facade no longer works outside of their deranged fanbase.

Informs us of how much they want to look after the 'little man', while behind the scenes destroying any creator smaller than them that gets in their way.

Both of them count their mods as being their best friends, etc.

Jason at least keeps his meltdowns off-screen for now, unlike Matto who has frothing fits on stream nearly every other day.
