Even though everyone hates this guy, pretty sure there’s a no warez/file sharing rule globallyIs it okay to post Jason's game here with DRM and anti cheat gutted from it? Just to know to know if I'm wasting my time or not or wrapped in a steam emulator to make it more portable.
I won't be surprised if by September/October, he just completely gives up and ignores everything Heartbound related and gaslights everyone* about it.Yesterday on stream he started saying "updated every month". Bro is really just going to erase history yet again and pretend he never promised updates on the 1st, then the first week. He's already moved on.
So you're saying he's not using a voice changer, just some sort of software that changes his voice by adding a fuck ton of bass? Is this really a meaningful distinction?no offense but you guys are kinda schizophrenic about this voice changer thing. His face moves away/towards the microphone, so of course it’s going to sound different.
It’s really just a fuck ton of bass boost + maybe voice training—but the bass boost alone will give the perception of a deeper voice.
Is there a clip of his “voice changer” malfunctioning without him moving his head away from the mic?
I've seen this confused in a few other places online, so I feel like providing the correct word: structs. The easy way to remember is it stands for structures, as in structures of data....
Before struts(my b if thats not the word)
...
Maybe the real voice of Jason were friends we made along the way?So you're saying he's not using a voice changer, just some sort of software that changes his voice by adding a fuck ton of bass? Is this really a meaningful distinction?
He doesn't program this game from scratch, he uses a game development engine called game maker, with it's own language, which supports a wide variety of platforms, including Android, which runs on ARM, which his "Smart Fridge" probably runs. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Doesn't the CPU architecture get in the way of running the game? Because if that fridge is ARM (which I think it might be after a couple google searches), and his game is meant for PC, which is most likely x86, wouldnt that require it to be emulated to begin with or just mirrored?
I think his point was that his magic number array anti-pattern made it possible to run on the fridge, as if somehow using any other better practices or data structure isn't O(1). He makes it sound like only because of his 1337 coding skills could his game run on a smart fridge. He doesn't program this game from scratch, he uses a game development engine called game maker, with it's own language, which supports a wide variety of platforms, including Android, which runs on ARM, which his "Smart Fridge" probably runs.
Even if it doesn't, and he tailor-coded his game to run on a fridge, don't you have anything better to do with your time as a game dev?
Just to add more information, yes, the Smart Fridge runs Android, you can see at the start of the Fridge video that the guy makes an APK and tries to run it on a Smartphone. He doesn't program this game from scratch, he uses a game development engine called game maker, with it's own language, which supports a wide variety of platforms, including Android, which runs on ARM, which his "Smart Fridge" probably runs.

He's probably just using another grifter trick by trying to have his own "DOOM runs on a printer"-moment without explicitly spelling it out to impress easily impressionable people into thinking he's the next John Carmack or something.I think his point was that his magic number array anti-pattern made it possible to run on the fridge, as if somehow using any other better practices or data structure isn't O(1). Look at it from his POV for a moment. You go through your entire life with a god complex and dreams of being seen as a master coder assassin, and finally at the age of like 40 you achieve this status, the whole online world loves you, thinks you don’t have a faggy nerd voice irl, thinks you’re a master hacker and coder, thinks you were some too fucking big top dog at blizzard, you’re the ultimate cool nice guy who’s rape of ferrets is actually seen as rescuing them….Stopped by his stream right now just to check. It's so sombre dude. The joy has left him. I can just feel the smoldering seethe.![]()
i mean it's a fridge running android what type of better practices or data structures are there even? we're not talking about trying to fit something into a limited amount of space or getting clever within limitations here it's something that already has a fully integrated software stack for running modern computer applicationsI think his point was that his magic number array anti-pattern made it possible to run on the fridge, as if somehow using any other better practices or data structure isn't O(1). Sorry for being pedantic, but it actually runs Tizen, Linux-based OS, widely used in Samsung Smart TV, watches and various home appliances. It's potato potato really and your point still stands of course, as it's something GM supports.Just to add more information, yes, the Smart Fridge runs Android, you can see at the start of the Fridge video that the guy makes an APK and tries to run it on a Smartphone.
Jason fucking wishes he was Moss. Moss actually knew his shit. He'd be more like Jen: compulsive liar, lied to get the job, can't do shit at it, has to be constantly tard wrangled by Moss and Roy.
Jason is the kind of a person that'll believe internet lives inside of a box if he didn't have basic minimal understanding of things.Jason fucking wishes he was Moss. Moss actually knew his shit. This is how Mald learned his h4x0r skillz during his time at Blizzard:Jason fucking wishes he was Moss. Moss actually knew his shit. He'd be more like Jen: compulsive liar, lied to get the job, can't do shit at it, has to be constantly tard wrangled by Moss and Roy.
I don't think he's going to give up on it. Based on his actions he's clearly not worried about how his delays make him look. The longer he keeps this going, the longer he can make game and merch sales, for zero overhead.I won't be surprised if by September/October, he just completely gives up and ignores everything Heartbound related and gaslights everyone* about it.
*Everyone being all his furfaggot followers.
I really want to say he's given up, but he's financially ruined if he loses it here. Ferret Dachau, gone. House, gone. Everything, gone. I'm optimistic he loses it all and he is financially ruined forever, but those fucking furfaggot followers he has just will not see through the lies.
I believe you're right. He's probably just using another grifter trick by trying to have his own "DOOM runs on a printer"-moment without explicitly spelling it out to impress easily impressionable people into thinking he's the next John Carmack or something.
