Is this new or recycled content? I don't remember seeing those Wizard of Oz robots. Wow.

Oh, it's just new telegram style missions. Looks like the bonuses are related to the Naturalist role and hunting.
Pretty sure the robots are just them re-using the robot model from the Marko Dragic stranger missions, basically the guy who's inspired by Nikola Tesla who ends up building a robot which later ends up killing him and escaping his laboratory.

Kinda lazy, but I guess it's something. Surprised they're even still trying to pretend they give a cursory thought to RDO.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was meant to release around 2021. It says Vol. 1 which implies there’s more content on the way. The last update I recall from RDO was them finally fixing the stables and hiding your horse’s names.

Just found this online, figured some people might want to laugh for a moment:

Anyways, been thinking about hopping back in Online myself, but I'm seriously hesitant. I've gotten extremely bored of the game at this point, and aside from grinding out Harriet's stuff some more - because I still haven't gotten her full list of Legendary Animals - there's not really anything that interests me at this point. Naturalist has gotten so dull I'd rather be playing anything else, and while I would like to grind out a Legendary Animal outfit, wearing the outfit is impractical for most of the map, so...

Well, i'm replaying RDR2 to get the 100%.
So far, so good. The only thing i'm still somewhat confused is the substory of the slaver:
  • Man cries for the lost of his former life and even in the end, he's still crying about it without remorse or adapted his lifestyle into another, idk; like Strauss with the money lending.
  • Arthur is visibility bothered by the torture basement of the abandoned house and the slave ledger.
Those are the main things, and seeing it with Arthur's perspective of being free in Van Der Linde gang... ofc he's anti-slavery. It's anything Dutch is not.
More than that, it's fine.

Online is pretty boring now tbh. No more lynch mobs.

Why are you confused? It makes perfect sense for Arthur to be taken aback by this given the context of the mission.

I think i forgot mention about some people i see about how that substory is like the same as supporting woman voting or insulting the very idea of eugenics.
But like you said, giving the context, it is already justified Arthur's action to burn the slave ledger.

i once had a dream where you could get a thompson in rdr2 it was awesome

it was the 1919 thompson with no stock
