When you compare the Patreons of breadtubers to the colloquial "Right"/"Anti-wokes"/"Anti-SJWs", when they do something divisive their patreons usually start a slow, downward spiral. (ChrisRayGun, ActMan, etc) Breadtubers will receive this continuous, unending support because it's ultimately a mentality they've engrained into their audience that what they're doing is important and the only way to "fight back" is if they support each other and sequester into these self-supporting communities. It's all performative, essentially LARPing as a self-funded revolutionary group, with different breadtubers acting as different "cells" in the organisation.

Thank you ChatGPT for that great insight into the division between liberals and leftists. Leftists just see everything as a reaction to "imperialism" and think some great LARP will happen with them as the vanguard ushering in their socialist/commie/anarchist paradise of choosing. You can only get so far as a movement with "Western Democratic Capitalism Bad Man". So taking down the Jews in Israel is just part and parcel of that great LARP. Most of these people couldn't really articulate a single reason to believe in this shit which is why it's usually sold via some useful idiot like contra or hassan or vaush or countless others. It would be interesting. John and Nick were friends until the October 7th attack, and they both disagree on the whole conflict, since John supports Israel, and Nick while supporting Palestine believes that the whole situation is so dire that its not worth talking about, which ended up getting him labeled as a Zionist by his former allies.
