This is exactly it. I'm probably way more libbed out than most of the people on here, and I've been cringing through this shit for years. They just think "what's the WORST THING I can think of to call this person" and spam that regardless of whether it makes any sense.
This is also one of the big reasons why the pro-pali retards have shot their own movement in the foot. IIRC, Anisa is actually acclimatized to abuse, didn't she get bullied in school for wetting her pants?

Anisa reeks of insecurity, and is likely so messed up mentally that she expects abuse and abuses others without thought. If Ian isn't going to control her, she's going to dish it out to him. She probably has some sort of internal cope like because she's a victim, it's okay for her to victimize others.

I don't think a normal guy merely being assertive is enough for Anisa. She hates herself, and until she can deal with that, she probably wants an abusive relationship with a wife beater or at the very least regular hard bdsm with someone who will tell her to shut up regularly. It's what she believes she deserves, even though her words say she's a strong woman, her actions and demeanors show she still feels powerless.

I don't know if any sane individual can fix Anisa.
