I’m willing to entertain the idea that Communism would go differently than socialism because Communism has a much broader agenda of enforcing state atheism,
modernizing (as they understand it). Call it a religion (it is), call it a civilization, but Communism would destroy traditional India.

As some have noted, though, non-Communist China is still less shitty than China.

First, what a story. I laughed my ass off. I hope your company's insurance rates tripled for this stroke of boardroom genius.

Second, how could they even afford to fire this guy assuming one he was in on it, and two, they know he was in on it. These idiots literally hired people to scam them out of tens of millions. All because they didn't wanna pay some White guys over a hundred grand a year. They gambled, and lost; and what was their response? To change course, to seek a better way? To not offshore something as important as IT to india? No, they just load the system down with more "safety" measures that killed productivity. They're in a catch-22 where if they fire him (assuming he did it), more things would break, and they'd have to start hiring White guys with White wages. However if they leave him, he can just try repeating the scam all over again. By the way, I hope he was in on it. Having to tardwrangle a bunch of jeets for a soulless corporation deserves a nice payout. I hope he laughed his ass off when he got back.

scandinavian style socialism happened due to the people building functional nations with an emphasis on industrial development and rational organization of society. india tried to do the same thing but cargo culted everything that made europe great without understanding how they got there.

for example, the UK has the NHS. india said they wanted a NHS too, so they came up with AIIMS an other public hospitals because every indian is entitled to free healthcare. however, having a much lower base of development means that promise exists only on paper and public hospitals are so crowded you have to step over people on the floor to get to where you're going.

That only works in a high trust society. Jeets would try to extract as much as possible out of the system and kill it. Just look at a european country and see how foreigners rape the system. They constantly go to emergency care for minor problems a GP could fix. Fines dont matter since they're poor anyway. They constantly try to ask for all sorts of medical assistance they have zero rights for, and just end up wasting money when they get checked and told they aren't eligible for a handicapped parking card. If ever one of their family members ends up in local governance, they hand out all sorts of disability bonuses to their family.
You already see these kinds of problems in more white countries where patronage systems are strong. For example Greece. They have 20 gardeners for a single hospital garden because the patron gives his supporters sinecures in return for votes/support. More tribalistic societies are even worse. See practically every African nation post decolonization. You just have the leaders hand out government gibs and jobs to people of his own tribe because he is honorbound to do so.

Scandinavian welfare requires everyone to 1) be willing to pay a lot into the public pot, 2) take out money only if they actually need it 3) see the entire society as peers, rather than just their family/clan/tribe/patron.

I've tried it before (I used to use smokeless tobacco and nasal snuff). Picked some up at an actual Asian market because I was out of tobacco and it was a long drive. It's not gross, but its not great. I dunno how much of it you need to dip for your spit to turn red like that, but its probably a lot.
