IMO Ian was just a random throw away NPC who was given key dialogue in the overarching story of YouTube, then to the writers surprise the fans became autistically obsessed with this random NPC and they were forced to shove this 1 dimensional NPC into the main cast.

Ian was never meant to be anything more than a moment. His life was sad and cringe before youtube, and since he has never had any actual talent or conviction he immediately fell apart once the jokes stopped writing themselves.
 
Just spitballing, but I am guessing the next content slop will be either on Chris Ray Gun or Dad. Dad would be the easier target, but Chris threw Anus under the bus (a.k.a. told the truth about CC) and Ian is probably jealous of Anus lusting for him. I will also add Froggy Fresh as a longshot which would be the funniest option as Tyler would btfo them relentlessly.

They don't even have the financial resources to produce a proper video anymore. And community support is gone to after their attempt to monkey branch to Breadtube has gone down the shitter too.

I don't think there will be another content cop. Ian exhausted all his options, he's disappeared from all social media. Only Anisa occasionally posting him and he looks even more tortured than ever in all the pics. Idk, to me he seems the most broken he's ever been right now.

Also, i think we overestimated how close the Jomhas are and how much time they spend together. The roommates vibes are obviously there and it's confirmed they lived on separate floors in Seattle and don't even share a bed. Anisa has her meltdowns (like the latest one on twitter) and Ian doesn't know about it until shit goes down and he has to go defend her and speak for both of them.

Ian is more isolated than ever, the h3 wine moms were even speculating on the subreddit they aren't even staying together in Canada rn (Ian in whatever basement they're filming in, Anisa in Maureen's house) which makes sense to me.

I think they might have finally reached a breaking point. Anisa is openly throwing him under the bus, they're obviously not discussing whatever is going on rn. Where the fuck is Ian?

I think you are underestimating their proclivity to always do the stupidest thing possible.
 
I feel like their only real option is to hunker down and find real jobs and fade into obscurity. They are both too raped to ever recover from this and will only be miserable with whatever meager views and attention they could get going forward.

Let's say they lean into the inflammatory "pig rolling around in shit" schtick.. it'll be lackluster. If falloff from his h3 content cop is any indication, Anus and her pet monkey are done.

If they hadn't attempted CC3 and the content cop, they probably could've coasted off whatever remaining redditor/h3 adjacent audience they had while Ian made fucking goldfish cracker videos or whatever but they fumbled even that.
