One of the most recent Sherlock Holmes TV shows eve spoofed this. A serial blackmailer is terrorizing the Elites of London by threatening to reveal their secrets that he has uncovered and even had dirt on Watson's wife. Sherlock spends the entire episode looking for the fabled vault where the blackmailer kept his dirt only to find out that there was no physical vault. The blackmailer had a photographic memory and used the whole "memory palace" cliche to store the knowledge he used to blackmail people in his head and simply played upon his victims fears to make them do whatever they were ordered to do. IIRC the blackmailer, knowing his power would vanish if his victims knew the truth, end up trying to personally kill Sherlock after being told this/that Sherlock had not told anyone about this theory, forcing him to kill the blackmailer.

If there was no physical proof/list in Epstein's case, he would have been killed long ago.

Bannon was the one to tell him to fuck off about H1-B and has been fighting him on it ever since (maybe even threw in calling him a retard once or twice). Musk can't handle getting told no.
