When someone said their name was nabilahani naimuddin, I thought this was some sort of metokur reference to the time he introduced everyone to Yakuub lmao.

I cant reply to scatterbrain for some reason but when he mentioned PAWOO my eyes started seeing red. Pawoo is a fediverse instance that got caught with users trading CSAM with one another for "reference material".

I didn’t knew about that, I listened sometimes to his podcasts but once he went full gooner I stopped caring.

That is an interesting way to think but I don't agree at all.

Lolicon has always been entrenched into anime and anime is what made it popular in the first place (even if many/most anime fans don't like it). It's not hard to find a popular anime with some loli bullshit shoved in for fanservice reasons (for that particular crowd). Heck take a mainstream isekai light novel like Re:Zero (13m copies sold)... I just saw a screenshot of its latest season and yep, loli faggotry. I remember watching Bleach when I was a kid and while the author self-admittedly likes big titty adult women and milfs, he ended up designing a "1000-year old loli" character anyway (it's not in-your-face but it is there). Fuckin Boruto's author caught controversies for drawing one of the main kids with a sexual design. Not to mention there's highly acclaimed anime like Monogatari (2m BDs sold) where the protagonist is a bona fide pedophile, no pretenses.

I'm not surprised to see so many weebs feeling the need to defend Japanese media in this thread (considering KF demographics) but let's not kid ourselves. Remember Nobuhiro Watsuki? This guy, who wrote Ruroni Kenshin (which is a best seller), was caught with so much CP that authorities thought he was a distributor but still managed to get away with a $2000 fine. Many popular manga authors including the likes of Jujutsu Kaisen and Hunter x Hunter participated in his manga anniversary event with literally just a handful silently boycotting it. Oda, the author of One Piece, even commented that the guy was an "amazing person". And this is just one guy, one case.

You can love anime, other Japanese media and Japanese culture to death while not even remotely liking lolicon but let's not get delusional here and attempt to obfuscate the root of the issue. Many here including the OP and Null have already gone over the sexual dysfunction within Japanese culture and how it feeds into perverse things like lolicon.

Wrong. It started in the 70s in anime proper. There was a time it did not exist. This is a lie that keeps getting pushed and I'm sick and tired of hearing it.

Astro Boy is a super powered cyborg robot with 50's slapstick humor. Because that is the era he came from. He is right there with Speed Racer in terms of being SFW. Never seen the other, but it seems like it's a old gag comedy.

It did not happen all at once. It's horribly understated how long they worked to worm their way into the industry. The 2000's was when they won. Gone was seinen. Now was moe and the assorted slop. All the people holding the tide back were gone.

Osomatsu kun wasnt properly archived except for like 14 or so episodes however its 80s reboot was fully archived. Its best described as a comedy where every character is comically dysfunctional.
 
Bizarre statement I never thought I'd say, but thank GOD Go Nagai (to my knowledge) didn't sexualize children. He just hated women. On a related note, someone asked NorthernLion if he would play Blue Archive and his response was "nah, steam reviews are too fucking weird." Blue Archive could genuinely be an 11/10 story and game and I still wouldn't play it because the fans are so radioactive

YES. Children have been in anime since the beginning. But there is a difference between a kid, and jerk off materiel. One is a part of life, the early stages of human development. The other is a sexualized depiction of a child, a complete and utter abomination that does not exist in normal society and is frowned upon to put it lightly.
