At the same time, everyone in this thread fears a complete normalization of pedophilia, regarding these "MAPs" and "muh lolicon" rights people.

I want to add something, a bit of history,
Pedophilia wasn't stigmatized nor seen as an issue until the 70s. If it wasn't for the feminist waves, age of consent and CSA would've been still 50 years behind. Pedophilia was very much seen as neutral, at least from my knowledge, until it started being stigmatized by women. After the fem waves, articles and newspapers featuring exposure and shaming of child predators hit the market. Catch a predator shows, anti pedophile movements etc. Which leads to what we are today.

Pedophilia isn't getting "normalized". It's barely getting stigmatized, because the stigma of the predator is a new concept, yet not stigmatized everywhere (some Asian countries for example).
For almost 2 millenniums pedophilia was seen either as a good thing (ancient Greece), or neutral. Image how many prepubescent and pubescent children have suffered and were groomed into this dynamic. And pedophiles movements are trying to bring the good ol'days back.

I may not be a little child or toddler anymore, but I carry the pain and rage of every single abused child before the 70s. We can't let them win in any way possible.

In my humble opinion, rape counts as torture, which is a very not good thing. Murder sucks, though at least then there's an end to the misery......

The mental scars from rape will last a long time, as does even psychological torture. PTSD is a massive bitch. I do think people that rape and or murder deserve the absolute worst punishment.

Fantasizing about rape, or consuming the pornography that is just blatant rape, should beget a lesser (though still) extreme punishment.

Pedophilia, the attraction itself, should be stigmatized. The people with the attraction shouldn't be nuked for having it, as sometimes they had no control over the fact their wires got crossed. Therapy should be pursued for these individuals.
Those that embrace their passion should be punished.

I'm not so sure why women have rape fantasies. Mayhaps it's caused by trauma or the brain just does that?

Multiple reasons. Slowly going off topic but here:

1. Patriarchy and rape culture: Fanfics and dark romance portrays rape as "hot" or just a little romantic event. Which minimizes the impact this thing has. Patriarchy socializes women into their "place"; to be submissive. Thus women are sexually attracted to violence, chaos, control. It's like grooming or Stockholm Syndrome. If somebody said getting hit and raped is " hot" repeatedly, the women will believe it eventually.

2. Trauma. Some victims INVOLUNTARILY get aroused by their memories and abusers. A lot of raped women develop paraphilic OCD.

3. EPI: Early porn introduction on teenager girls shapes their sexual identity.

I am a firm believer that there are "ills" that come to us and our society so that people like us stop and ask questions akin to "What the fuck is going on???". And eventually, something will catch on and people will wake up. The age and disparity of groom and bride being one of them - where you had in SOME cases the groom being the double the age of the bride. Eventually people saw there was something that needed to be changed, and there we go.

This illness of lolitroon, sadism, troon cancer and other things related will be gone, eventually. We just have to endure it for a while. Things may get worse before they get better.

I have a theory that thanks to the pornographic industry, few attitudes towards sex and such have changed. I don't know how to formulate a proper response, as I never researched for something in "sexual intercourse in the Middle Ages" or whatnot.

I'm not sure about lolicon artists specifically but I remember Spazkid from Newgrounds talking about how he would take on porn requests for fetishes he didn't like because people with them will pay top dollar to see it drawn well. He also used to work with Shadman on Shadbase but I don't recall him ever drawing loli/shota.

Regardless of if he did or not, he still defended the guy over the whole "it's just drawings" idk if his opinion's changed on that now though considering everything that's come out about Shad. They had their own falling out over Shad's drug problem similar to what happened to Stamper. Makes it hard to listen to the guy even though the way his autistic brain functions is hilarious.
