To be clear, America definitely does not claim Canada, and even more than that, anyone who has lived in a close enough proximity to Quebec definitely wants nothing to do with you. Even the majority of Canada hates Quebec

Canada is part of America, as are Mexico, the United States, Honduras, Chile, and many other countries.
And Québec is wonderful and many Canadians love it, as far as I know.

Well, it's not popular, but it's infamous. There's more than one article about it and how they harass. The first time I read it, I was horrified. Still, I'm taking advantage of it to entertain myself.

The division between North, South, and Central America depends on convention, but definitely each of the countries I mentioned are American countries.

I think my first contact with the site was reading work horror stories and suddenly coming across one of the off-topic threads talking about problems at work. I think the first on-topic threads were the threads on transgenders (the SRS thread and "losing people to transgenderism" thread).

Very interesting. I think the surgery thread would be off-putting for me, and the other one seems too serious.
Thank you so much for your comments; you give me some hope. Although I've definitely seen a fair amount of intolerance around here... but that might not be a problem at all because maybe I'm just crazy and enjoy annoying intolerant people, I don't know.
