Unions are basically dying as a result of cheap labor flooding the market. Even non trade unions like teachers are dying but that's for other reasons (low pay, disrespectful students, etc). A lot of the unions endorse open border types for the most part because it's the shift in the left but old union leaders were very vocal about it and have warned about the consequences for years
The newer union leaders support open borders because of SJW programming; the older, more experienced union leaders oppose it because it allows Big Corpo to fuck the working man in the ass by importing cheap labor to supplant union labor.

And Obama was never hip to begin with. I had such high hopes for him to be able to help heal the nation and he turned out be another beltway globalist plant with no interest in soothing cultural angst.
The black teachers I knew regarded Obama as some kind of political anomaly. They couldn't explain why he rose to power so quickly.

To have a successful civil war you basically need half the military to coup. Thats easy in any tin pot dictatorship.
Despite whatever the media would tell you about what trump has done to the deep state. The US military out of necessity is so compartmentalized. Only the Pentagon knows how all the pieces fit together. Trump wouldn't need to bomb some rowdy insubordinate soldiers. He would just have to stop sending them fuel.

A "civil war" would look more like a prison escape cleanup then an actual war. Most of the weaponry individual units possess are not very impressive. And are not far from what local law enforcement possess.

Gamergate was the original populist revolt against the authorities of the Left, and the Left used its institutional power to try and crush it, and they failed. Gamergate only died down when the people leading it started fighting each other, and people realized that the corrupt gaming journos were here to stay.

It's the rare example of a broken clock being right twice a day; Gamergate showed the people that the institutional Left can be defeated. It then led to being adapted to politics, with people being tired of the cultural Left picking Trump in 2016.

Many of the old Hoffa or Chavez type leaders are gone, either retired or removed, and newer leadership is stepping in and looking scary. However, the swing of average union workers moving red will create a lot of friction within the unions
 
I still don't entirely understand the difference between Medicaid and Care cuz I'm not a brokie.

Medicare is generally for senior citizens who have enough of a work history to qualify, and possibly disabled people in certain circumstances.

Medicaid provides a certain minimum level of health coverage for low income people (based on the Federal Poverty Line) with no other options for affordable coverage. Medicaid is generally administered at the state level, so eligibility requirements and the name can vary by state.

This seems like something that always should've been the case, they exist to reinforce our borders and prevent people from illegally entering. Before the modern era countries used their militaries to do that job (for the most part). Personally I don't believe that constructing concentration camps is the move because for one, that's expensive, and two that's just begging for leftist larpers to sperg out about the nazis.
I've always held the belief that the people who crossed illegally in the past simply just have to pay to get themselves documented, if they don't have the money for that then you either deport them or they owe the government that money (no interest). From that point forwards all new illegal immigrants would simply be deported.
I don't think they're "concentration camps," they're just more of the "kids in cages" holding facilities that were all the rage in Trump 1. They go there, get processed, and then deported.
When you deport them they just go to a concentration camp in El Salvador; this is why the US gave them millions to build up those facilities.

Most gamers already have a job. Video games are a very expensive toy, with each new game being $60-80 a pop. You can't afford that unless you've been earning some decent cash on the side. Especially if you game with PCs or modern consoles.
I would beg to differ on that statement. Most of them likely have jobs, but most gamers are extremely loyal to a few games. Gaming is an absurdly cheap hobby for most players once you get past the moderately steep initial investment into a system. Steam users played on average only 4 different games last year. Even if we assume that half the userbase is just bots and alts, that's still maybe 7 or 8 unique games played a year. And on top of that, of these few games, two thirds of the time played in games was spent on games that were over 8 years old. Most people are sitting in their creature comfort games (many of which are free to play!), maybe picking up a new title here and there. They're likely spending more on electricity than they are on flavor of the month games and the whole lineup of blockbuster games each year. Video gaming is absurdly cheap $/hour if you aren't chasing the tippy top of everything.

i use the term concentration camp very loosely, regardless my point still stands. Additionally, a large enough portion of the public views them as that so the consequences of building and allocating funding towards those facilities is still the same despite them not legally being classified as such.
The mega prison in El Salvador is fit to hold 40,000 people but only had ~14,000 in it 2 years after it was built (December 2024 iirc), even factoring in the new influx of prisoners they're still well under maximum capacity.

I'm a really early zoomer (1997). While my family got broadband about the time I started using computers (2002) due to my dad playing online games, I knew friends in childhood who still had dialup until 2007-2009 or so. Cousins family finally switched in 2013, but they live rurally.

F2P just means the first hit is free and if you really want to play the game you either need to spend actual money or dedicate absurd time grinding. Just because the only game someone played is genshin impact doesn't mean he hasn't sunk hundreds of dollars into the game over his playtime.
