With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

    Votes: 58 7.4%
  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

    Votes: 91 11.7%
  • 3 Stars — Average. Solid entertainment in spots, some good chaos and crashouts, but nothing special

    Votes: 177 22.7%
  • 4 Stars — Really good. Lots of hilarious moments, strong fish personalities, solid content and vibes

    Votes: 407 52.2%

Why did you have to fucking remind me it ended? :(

Add Metalocalypse and Venture Bros to the list.
Only the good die young and the best TV shows don't get renewed for another season. *sigh*

I seriously wish we got more lore on the Firefly setting, like the Unification War and how fucked up the Alliance is. That part of the series always stood out to me as unusually based, but it was written in a different time.
Good lord those filters are doing some heayv lifting
It can't hide the chins though.

They took it off the market last September after having to come WAY down on the price. It's been said many times already in this thread but trying to do this during one of the worst periods in the housing market was a rough call
I actually looked at the zillow history for the S2 house, and I think they will come out ahead if they need to liquidate. Says they bought it for 575k, and Zestimate is 811.5k (the original 900k selling price was retarded, and the current Zestimate is close to the 790k they had it on the market for 2 weeks before delisting). Zillow is bullish for sure, but they aren't off by 30%. If the wiggers put the house on the market at 650k, and Zillow is telling buyers it's 811.5k, they will get offers. And a 75k profit is certainly enough to cover interest payments and closing costs on both transactions with a decent return for shitting up a house for a year.

Haven't looked at S1 or S3 (have a feeling S3 would be the risker one).

Edit: I actually forgot, I don't think they own S1 house? But whoever does is completely fine they bought it early 2021. Sold for 521,500, Zestimate 748,400.

Isn't the S2 house basically unsellable due to the basement?
S3 house has all that land and genuinely awful design that is so dated I assume you would mostly be buying for the land at that point?

I'm not going to overrepresent my expertise, but both the flooding and egresses are fixes that will eat into profit (10s of grand), but I doubt would turn it into a loss with the numbers I see. Plus they're wiggers so they'll probably have a friend do it for cheap and cut corners.

People have different taste, and just like above people will buy things at a discount all the time. Nick love's his mid-century, which I think is dogshit. I'd still live in one at the right price. The house I live in has a pretty dog shit floorplan, but it checked a ton of other boxes and I got it at a great price, so I'm happy with it. It's usually never prohibitory expensive where you can renovate a house to be more appealing and just factor that into the price you are willing to pay for a house.

I'll try looking into the S3 house more.

Burt just went live and basically said that Fishtank scammed the audience:
1751589162721993.webm

Around 30-35 minutes into his current stream (titled: BURTSTREAM 62 🔴BACK IN JERSEY - 4TH OF JULY COUNTDOWN )
Burt's been saying a lot of stuff like this lately. Right before season 4 started he was crashing out over the 50k, probably because he was upset that he was about to lose most of his viewers to the show. The only people who watch Burt are fishtank fans obviously, myself included. Then after Sam's "If Asmongold streams fishtank for a full day we'll pay Burt the 50k" joke he really lost it and even vaguely markyposted before quickly deleting the tweet. It's in the thread.

Then when season 4 abruptly ended he kept saying that they had it coming and the wiggers were idiots for not doing their due diligence to protect themselves from legal troubles before the show started. He did an impression of Jet on another recent stream, making fun of him for fucking everything up using classic Jetisms like "trust the plan" while covered in cerave face cream as whiteface and a smushed brownie above his eyes as a unibrow which is also in the thread.

Even though he was basically confirmed to supposed to have been on Season 4 through leaked freeloader badges, and Xavier hinted at wanting him for Bloodgames during his season 4 cameo, I would not be surprised if Burt completely burns his bridge with MDE soon.

Jet and Sam talked about him during S4, Jet said Burt asked him for passes for one of the MDE World peace showings and has been to 3 and Sam said Burt came up to him at one and Sam said he basically just said "Nope" and dodged him haha.
I think both at least tolerate him and understand the entertainment he brings and fans like him but as a person want nothing to do with him. He has got messaged before from Production to cool down which he usually does so they understand his quirks and need to be tard wrangled.

Jet is fine with someone like Burt. Sam isn't.

I agree, and in fact, Burt just vented about it more on Reddit on a post about how TJ was the only winner who actually claimed the 50k:

with regards to s3 house - I don't remember the exact address or what it sold for
but it's a decent sized property in a relatively expensive area and also has the guest house thing on the property as well.

it does look like a goofy 80s/90s ski lodge for sure but I wouldn't say it's atrocious looking either.
and you could always renovate it and fix that I guess if you really wanted to.

with the 2 houses and the lot it wouldn't surprise me if it's valued somewhere around 700k
not that i'm an expert or anything but that would be my guess

funny that the least deserving fish basically of all time was the one to get the money
you'd be better off giving it to jon or smth

Hopefully we get some spinoffs and off-season stuff to hold us off for many months. There are a lot of talented people in the fanbase.

That's the S3 house. The S2 house is probably comfortably somewhere around 700k. (I'm retarded and cannot read.)

The S3 house is going to be a lot harder to sell (they bought for 1.35M and Zestime is 1.4M). The market for bigger houses is a bit smaller. It took the original owners a year to sell and had to come down 450k from ask (but who knows what price game they were trying to play). It was also late 2023 so not super easy. I cannot really say, it depends on how fast they need to move that property. They can probably come out fine if they can time, but if they need to sell it could be painful.

Were there legal problems for S3 house? I guess if we hear official news on BG2 we'll have a better idea what fate that house has. I know they said they wanted to sell all 3, but maybe they need to sell S1 and S2 houses, and can hold on to S3 for BG and sell without getting fucked. :optimistic:

yeah i mean to be fair it was closer to where i was at just a couple of years ago though.
im assuming that steep price hike is from them buying it

also wew that price history

either way, it's a super nice property
"Plus a separate 1156 SF Guest house , 4 rooms, 1 bath and separate septic system & well, above a 4 stall garage."
"13+ wooded Private Acres"
just the 13 acres is going to be worth a lot.

also its wild that people were saying the cops got called for bloodgames
they really arent close to other properties
Screenshot 2025-07-03 222401.webp
im assuming it was back here so like idk
there really isnt anything nearby

I don't know where people are getting it from aside from them not moving things there but people say they can't use it for Fishtank either because during S3 the cops were already fed up with them due to all the calls.
