The problem is the employment-population ratio keeps dropping, these increases aren't anywhere near big enough to keep pace with the population. 150k would have been decent 30-40 years ago when the population was 100 million lower than it is today but now it's mediocre at best. Unemployment is a lot worse than 4.1% if you consider the permanent drop in the labor force participation rate post-COVID.
