I was with you till you blamed anime and not the last fucking 10 years of US schools forcing gender politics and neopronouns shit down the kid's throats. You didn't see this with the kids that grew up with speed racer and tokusatsu or other jap shit in the 60s-80s, or the reruns of speed racer and DBZ/narto in the 90s-2000s. The fact this is now happening THIS YOUNG is directly tied to the rot beyond mere animation mediums.

The kids are not alright, but there are people to blame, rather than mediums. It's been a whole decade of "Men bad! men scary! cis bad! TRANSPHOBIA!!!!" shit. That combined with the rampant increasing goonerism does not build a healthy path for potential growth. At best it produces retarded and cruel zealots, at worse it fucking ends up with people going postal and killing themselves or others while also being retarded because nothing is being taught.
