I usually refer to the Disneyland example here (you will not say nigger) but I'm curious what you guys think. If they had to refund you then there would be literally zero reason not to get a new copy and troll once again, refunded, troll again.

I think "Users with banned accounts are entitled to the EOL-provided files, same as everyone else that bought it" is a pretty logical answer to that.

IMO they can ban you from official servers, but not the entire game. And if its online only then they ought to provide some self hosting options. Like tf2 community servers

Maldies strongest take for keeping licenses was if you cheat lets say in counter strike valve can ban your ass and keep you out of the game. Which is technically taking it away from the customer. I propose you just ban them from official servers and leting cheaters run favoc on the private once. It will add headace to the admins of said servers but i cant think of nothing else.

If one giant Youtuber that has a generally positive reputation makes a video on something (even if they make slop or not), it can sometimes have a big domino effect. It also helps that the Stop Killing Games movement is something that a lot of people can easily get behind morally.

Well yeah you get banned from VAC protected servers for cheating in CS2. You can still access the game, your skins, chat with your friends, look at your medals, use the workshop and even play multiplayer. You can even host your own dedicated servers without any issue. And that's absolutely reasonable. But even if they were taking away your access, cheating would probably be considered a valid reason even in the EU.
