The DNCs plan was to raise taxes and expand social programs to a massive degree so that they could bring people out of poverty and over the course of several years make them stable enough in regards to their finances so that they make enough money to no longer qualify
I thought it was meant to support illegals who might vote blue.
Benefits keep expanding year after year to buy voters

At one time, I made a chart of the various connections across MAGA, the alt-right, etc over time. It gets weirder than people think.
If you still have the chart, could you post it?
My belief is they're all part of a controlled spectrum of intel assets. Vivek's backstory is classic intel setup. He's closest with guys who's companies were legit founded by the govt. How people didn't see Fuentes was a fed earlier on, IDK. It's like how you had Vox and Cerno interacting with Tate...then Don ends up helping out Tate.
I don't disagree that a lot of these figures are either assets or persuaded to help the establishment in some way. Hannity and Tucker both have some CIA background (allegedly Tucker "unsuccessfully" tried to join, so who knows). Even Vance himself has some weird connections to Peter Thiel (among others) that makes one wonder who is beholden to whom.

Now the question is....is the border going to be a 10 feet wide concrete steel reinforced 24-h drone surveillance wall?
I’ve often thought that every inch of The Big Beautiful Wall should be covered by fixed and autonomous drone Internet-connected cameras both visible-spectrum and infra-red and that you should be able to log in to the feeds with your SSN and IP.

You could then ‘click to report’ suspicious activity for ICE and Border Patrol investigators to review and action. Every actioned report that results in a capture and deportation could then pay a reward. You’d have thousands of people watching your cameras for you 24/7.

Of course, you’d also have people deliberately lodging false reports to fuck up the system. Use the recorded SSN and IP to identify frequent false-reporters and send their files to ICE for analysis and investigation, you’d probably catch a lot of ‘Sovereign Citizens’, illegals and dual-loyalty types this way.

I have mellowed in my old age because I used to want those cameras linked to semi-autonomous gun emplacements firing 40mm beanbag rounds and tear gas canisters.

It's multipurpose, additionally, they just massively miscalculated the number of people that would qualify. After a certain point it would've gone down (like in the 2030s maybe?) but that ship sailed the day trump won in 2016.

Businesses and people go bankrupt, countries do not. They just renegotiate, come up with new terms, and often come up with a new currency after. Not a doomer, but we're in for some fun times. Isn't that always the case?

In time they can stabilize, but the correction is usually hell. In the best case scenario the country realizes it's too broke to continue doing what it's doing and cuts entitlements. People suffer, but most entitlements are a money pit anyways and people can usually find ways to cut back. They hate doing it, but when it gets to that point it's typically everyone suffering to some degree together so no one is as upset about it as anyone would assume. Historically when this has occurred in countries with a shared culture. I don't know if America is cohesive enough for this to occur. I think it would cause the country to break apart or generally devolve into a kleptocracy akin to Russia.

That's the best case. The typical case is that the government lets the money printer go wild. We got a taste of how bad just a little bit of inflation is during the past administration. Imagine living in a country where the currency devalues that much (or more) on a monthly basis. In the worst historical examples the newly printed money lost most of its value just as fast it was printed. A country can stay in this miserable state for years or even decades. In recent cases like Venezuela the population as a whole starts starving and many start to flee the country.

Regardless of what path you go down, it tends to completely reset things for most people. If you had any savings for retirement, they're probably wiped out. Hopefully you already own a home as it will be practically impossible to buy one and new developments will be scarce. A new currency doesn't matter if most businesses have contracted or closed. If a new currency could fix things so easily, Zimbabwe or Venezuela would have solved their problems years ago. Instead their economies are in ruins and even if both countries pulled their heads out of their asses today, it would still take decades for them to recover to previous heights without outside investment.

Why should my tax dollars pay for the health care of:

people who are not even fucking citizens of this country?
some fat fuck hambone who can't put the fork down?

fuck em
To be fair we will pay for them eventually either way when they become ER cases with no insurance and the hospital has to legally eat hundreds of thousands of dollars and close.

Look how much ICE arrests have increased since Trump became president again! (Source)

The pace of arrests has increased in every state compared with 2024. In 21 states and the District of Columbia, the pace has more than tripled.
Idaho, where the data shows ICE made 77 arrests last year, saw the biggest change. Since Jan. 20, ICE has made more than 300 arrests there, more than two per day on average.
Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and West Virginia have seen the fastest increase in ICE enforcement relative to the size of their immigrant populations. ICE has arrested more than 4,000 people in those states combined, compared with around 2,500 in the same span in 2024.

The MAGA right is now openly racist and I fucking love it.

Kirk used to tip toe around legal vs illegal, religious freedom and tolerance and American value and third world savages.

He is now totally and absolutely, openly racist.

Thank you sandniggers. You made them fascist and it's about time.

There are social-conservative Marxists. Eliminating wage labor is kinda based, especially when the wealthy don't need to work a day in their lives and live on inherited financial capital.

Many Marxists even see immigration as a tool capitalists use to drive down wages.

As long as they are against the current liberal elite controlling our lives idc.

The US is in a debt spiral, no doubt. Both parties are determined to only hit the gas pedal on spending and deficits.

However, countries have survived debt spirals and currency collapses, even the US. Remember greenbacks?

Businesses and people go bankrupt, countries do not. They just renegotiate, come up with new terms, and often come up with a new currency after. Not a doomer, but we're in for some fun times. Isn't that always the case?

edit: the importance of having a strong military cannot be overstated lol
If you want to stop deficit spending, then you first have to take a crowbar to the knees of the party that solely exists based on buying votes with government handouts. Until you do that, you're never going to have the resources to go after entitlements.

So, yeah, you've got to spend money to evict criminal labor. This will increase demand and pay for US workers so you have worthwhile jobs to pressure the indigent lumps into. Then when people are gainfully employed, the support will exist to start lowering all the gibs. It's a process. If you go straight for the gibs, Democrats will win back power just by promising free money like they did in 2020 with their "vote for me and I'll send you a $2000 check" strategy.

Not if we send them home first. If a foreigner here legally can't afford health insurance premiums & deductibles, he should lose his visa and be sent home immediately. Wouldn't want him to go without medical care, and I hear from libtards that even Uganda has better health care than the USA.

What about the citizens though?

Well, the Democrats did expand social programs under Biden, and it led to significant amounts of inflation. Their plan was to use federal stimulus to achieve full employment. Like, every time I talk to a Biden supporter, most of the time none of them are even aware of what policies Biden passed (IRA, CHIPS, American Rescue Plan) or even try to defend them. Not saying you're one of these people, because you're clearly not, but there is a disconnect between what Democrats believe and what their legislation actually does.

I've considered this before. Conservative small-town America has a lot of overlap with the values of communism. Really the only irreconcilable differences are the 'no god athiest state' thing and the 'no private capital'. If you take that out the premise of communism becomes pretty appealing:

-Death to the liberal capitalists and the lumpenproles they enable
-A society where people must work to be provided for, no free rides
-Ostensibly delegates power to 'the provinces'

For further consideration one must ask themselves who it was that made up the rank and file of the soviet revolution. There were urbanites and intellectuals of course, but the 'boots on the ground' of the revolution was the Russian equivalent of Cletus and Joel who hail from places so humble the tallest building in town is either the grain silo or the church

Ideally if we win they win too.

I forgot who said it, which is a shame because it's a good quote: "Unlimited immigration is an immediate existential threat to the country. After Rome burned, no one gave a shit how much debt the rubble owed."
Interestingly, the economic collapse of Rome was caused in no small part by slavery. As skilled slaves came into the empire it became harder and harder for free men offering the same services as the slaves to make a living. This meant that the free citizens went into greater and greater levels of debt just to survive, with inevitable bankruptcy seeing their estates transferred to the wealthy elites and their transition onto the Roman equivalent of social security to survive.
Illegals perform much the same functions as the Romans’ slaves did. They lower wages to the point of nonviability for unskilled and semiskilled work (agriculture, cleaning, construction etc), and as their incomes are sent ‘back home’ they do not support the provision of goods and services within the American economy.
It’s no coincidence that idiots are babbling about UBI etc in an era where social security absorbs massive amounts of government money, both taken from the pockets of taxpayers and plucked from thin air by the reserve bank.
