no shit, that's exactly my point: it was the japanese themselves who decided that this should be done, it was the japanese themselves who put in the effort to find and acquire that knowledge by seeking out the people who already had it and learning from them, and it was the japanese themselves who implemented these changes throughout their society and state.
that's the key factor here: the motivation to do it came from themselves, it wasn't decided for them or imposed on them by others. they really really wanted to rise up, to become a serious player on the world stage, to be a respected competitor and a feared threat to the other great powers of the time (which they accomplished when their new imperial navy blew the fuck out of the russian navy at tsushima)

the closest any of them ever came to it was when the ottoman empire tried to carry out some attempts at westernisation during its final years - and while the ottomans couldn't make it work in time, their successor state turkey under atatürk did manage to accomplish much of it later by crafting a modern secular nation-state. but then again, there's those who argue that modern turks are mostly the descendants of anatolian greeks and have little in common with the central asian steppe nomad turks of old...

The Ottoman Empire couldn't make it work because anytime a Sultan tried to reform things, they got an "accident" courtesy of the Jannisarues. (This is what happens when you copy the Praetorians; they do Praetorian things like kill reform-minded sovereigns.) Ataturk managed to create some much-needed reform, but without him fully embracing the West like Japan had, it was always at risk of being turned back by some radical Islamic idiot like Erdogan.

Therein lies the problem. They're too proud to admit they need to change, and they're too used to the free shit the West gives them, so down the toilet goes any ambition they have of changing things.

1,198,800,000 / 20 = 59,940,000.

You'll need 59,940,000 adult gators to eat 6 million illegals, in a week.
If you're willing for it to take longer than a week, just divide that number by the number of weeks (29,970,000 gators for two weeks, etc).

For a full year (52.1429 weeks) you'd still need 1,149,534 adult gators.

It is estimated that Florida is home to around 1.3 million gators. Obviously they're not all adults, but if all of them worked overtime I'm sure they could do it in one year.

Hopefully the House puts all the stuff the Senate took out back in the bill and then quickly passes it, forcing the Senate to be the target of Trump's ire for being RINO scum.

So one reason why holocaust denial got off the ground as much as it did is how strict the Nazi government was about keeping even its own people at the time in the dark about the ongoings of the camps so the idea of cameras being allowed inside for ANY reason was strictly verboten, thats why almost all the pictures you find of the camps are from allies post liberation so I hope you will accept a written source
