I love how he says it's fine for blacks to make videos of them putting "white Karens" who talk about their hair in their place because that's a realistic scenario, but videos of black people chimping out in public is not realistic lol. Love how liberal men are still openly misogynistic but it's fine because they just call the woman a "Karen" or say "white" in front of the word woman. Immediately excusing all the misogyny that follows. Both sides hate white women so much... 🙃

Well, there's really only one issue in getting to the ending of A Song of Ice and Fire and it's the characters stranded in Essos.

All the other characters needed for the ending (if the show is any rough outline) are on the coast of Essos and only a few days boat ride away. There are a few POV characters stuck way deeper into Essos with no great way to get them out that doesn't take forever because the dragons are much smaller in the books.

The show dealt with this with making the dragons much bigger, technically all George really needs to do is create a reason for the rapid growing of the dragons (these are the first dragons since the re-birth of magic throughout Westeros and Essos therefore maybe things grow more rapidly, etc) and the chess pieces would move much easier.

Most of the other plot points can resolve without much issue, it's just more of the IF it will resolve like it is in his mind. The show ending can't be much more than a rough outline if it is at all because the show was missing so many pivotal characters are that stage (Lady Stoneheart, fAegon, Euron for all intents and purposes)

Is it weird that things like Karen or calling women "females" rubs me the wrong way but I also hate whores?

I don't like it when women are kinda depersonalized like that but whenever they do it to themselves by treating themselves like meat I drop all interest in their well being. I have to force myself to to remember that prostitutes have been trafficked to try and maintain some sympathy.

I don't think there's any genuine pro women group or political party, ironically the most pro women might be like boomers because they have the (happy wife, happy life) mentality still.

The Democrats literally voted not to deport rapists and maintain things like child marriage in California. Nicholas Fuentes (who I still feel is a plant or a fed or something) and his kind on the right consider women cattle. both sides seem to view women as a way to reward their constituents. Letting browns and illegals rape for the Democrats and promising that women will be kept in the home and shackled for the incels.

Not to say I idealize women, i'll admit I take them less seriously on a lot of subjects. I will also admit that every job I've worked in that was majority men as my coworkers was a lot more satisfying and comfortable than the ones that were majority women.

I remember when I was in culinary school there was a group of girls and they came up to me because I was calling everyone "sir" or "ma'am" or "miss" about 4 girls approached me after class and said they hated being called ma'am and one said they'd would literally rather be called bitch, and then said they'd also like to be called chef (only the head teacher was called chef) it put a bad taste in my mouth.

Idk. Between relationships and work and everything else I'm still not totally sure where I fall on the "male feminist to proud sexist" scale but I definitely hate the way niggers talk about them.

This really needs to be said more often about popular fiction writers like Martin and Stephen King. Writers like them basically just submit lightly edited manuscripts for publishing instead of trimming hundreds of unnecessary lines from their doorstopper books.

Yes, I saw, but I was more interested in Grande Communications Networks, LLC v. UMG Recordings, Incorporated, et al. because it is the Grande case that actually cites Greer v. Moon 10th Circuit decision.

iirc, from what I remember from the synopsis, there's a female character on an island at the very end that's not one of the three children and it's implied Olaf raped her.

Oh right.
That was Kit Snicket, the sister of the fake author Lemony Snicket. She was in a relationship with Olaf when he was part of the VFD before becoming evil for whatever reason. She washes up on the island in the last book while pregnant but I forget the finer points of the plot. I don't know the timeline for Olaf becoming evil, the time frame of the entire series, or what. But the Baudelaires tell Kit that the hotel guy Dewey is dead and she starts crying and says she's lost everything, then she tells Violet to give her ring to her unborn child so even if it's an orphan, it can have that at least. Seemed pretty obvious that Dewey was the father.
