Comic is finished and I’ll be a monkey’s uncle, I didn’t think she had it in her. Unfortunately, we were all a little too optimistic in thinking she would be able to go a single artwork without looking for an excuse to draw furry ass.
There’s obviously a lot (or should I say, nothing) going on here, but I think what stands out to me the most is the immediate shift from the characters looking for peace and quiet where they won’t be “gawked at” to immediately pulling their pants down and calling attention to themselves. If this was drawn by a less retarded person, I would assume this was meant to be the joke, but because it’s autumn, I genuinely have no idea. I’m a little frustrated she hasn’t followed this one up with 10 reblogs to explain to me what the joke is (if there is one) because damn it, Pup, don’t get it.


Last is this addition which is just…hilarious, honestly. I think she’s completely blind to what her characters look like at this point because not a single person would guess that Hitch was meant to be trans, let alone a trans man by looking at her. She doesn’t even have any lazily incorporated pride pins or anything. I mean, surely even Autumn must realize that considering she knows she needs to put those big ass pronoun bubbles next to her OCs lest people reasonably assume this is just a straight cis couple.

She wanted to show that her characters aren't "wholesome" or some shit like that. And of course, she just wanted to slip in an "ACAB". Absolutely amazing storytelling, Autumn. The mooning drawing just comes off an excuse for Autumn to draw ass. If she wanted them to be more disrespectful, she would have made them throw bricks or litter at the cop instead of them coming off as degenerates. But then again, she hangs out with people like Fr4nkie who are mutuals with aggy/stwabewwy milk who think it's okay to be sexual in public.

Hitch is a heavy person; I'd imagine it would be hard for Hitomi to pick her up—let alone run while carrying her. Unless, of course, Hitomi is really strong.

That aside, your ideas are great and genuinely funny. Too bad executing them would require drawing more panels and actually putting some thought into all of it.

Also, we can't have her beloved characters face consequences for their actions, so getting arrested by the evil cops is out of the question..

shit im glad my ankles got the no litter warning. lol at how she went back and fixed the dialogue in the first panel and still ends up with "hey, thanks for buying me ice cream hitch" in the third panel. like sure its grammatically fine but it just sounds so fuckin stilted and unnatural. wouldnt something like "thanks for the ice cream" or "thanks for the little treat" make more sense?
