Do you think Harden has a spreadsheet that keeps track of Russ's pending, anticipated, or expected actions? I imagine it's damn near necessary because it's so easy to lose track of shit Russell said he was going to do, or is supposed to do, over the course of this entire thing.

It's definitely easy for things like 'Russell is supposed to send this application on MM/DD/YY' or 'pay this sanction' because those are court ordered (even though he still ignores it LOL), but for things like threatening to sanction Harden (then didn't), file a police report (then didn't), etc, it's gotta be a mess.
Lawyers absolutely keep calendars like that for deadlines on cases. It's part of a paralegal or secretaries job (depending on the size of the firm) to make sure all deadlines are on the calendar and to remind the lawyer to get things done in time to meet them/make sure he actually gets them done.

Letting your attorney miss deadlines or even close calls will get you fired so fast your head won't stop spinning for weeks, and no reference.

I suspect that Hardin does do this type of thing to some degree. His general strategy is very conscientious and methodical. But I will say doing things that way is a massive pain in the ass. Likely not every lawyer would be willing to construct a highly detailed diagram of all possible actions and potential responses.

One of the things I've learned via lolsuits is that there is a massive difference in the qualities of lawyers and that having a good lawyer doesn't even mean you win it just means it harder for you to lose.

dudes there are legal programs which do all this stuff automatically

most legal offices some sort of CMR software to track the cases, the dockets entered, the due dates and most importantly the time spent on a case. It all links up with PACER to update and track everything to ensure that nothing slip thru the cracks.

It's long past the days of some poor paralegal tracking everything on excel and praying he doesn't miss/mess up anything.

Russel would benefit greatly from even a marker board or post-it notes given how many deadlines he's missed. As you may have noticed, he's had a few goofs in this lawsuit. It might help him make his car and rent payments on time as well. He's had a few goofs there as well.

Russell has a smartphone; these come with a calendar app preloaded. He could enter in the deadlines and set reminders for himself. The problem with doing that is the calendar notifications could hide when an Instathot replies to his wooing.

I'm not even talking due dates for payments or motions. Those are kinda easy IMO. I'm talking about shit like 'Russ said he would do X' that gets lost in the sauce because it was written 50 ECFs ago (2 weeks ago in this circumstance LOL). Not that I think it'd accomplish a whole hell of a lot since Russ is a retard and the court is treating him as such, but it would be interesting if Harden had a tab along the lines of "Here are the dates for the 8 times Russell said he was going to do X and nothing came of it".

Just to have on hand for the fated day. When it comes in 70 years with a 100 year old Russell Greer drooling in front of a jury consisting of poster's grandchildren. AI Harden and Null's conscience (who has been uploaded into the capital I Internet) finally being awarded costs/fees to the tune of 3 million dollars (that is effectively worthless because the dollar is no longer an acceptable, global currency) because it has been determined that Russ is a literal retard.

I’m looking forward to the craziness this week. Finally another deadline is here. Will he pay? Will he have a little goof? Will there be more plightsplaining?

Signs point to yes.

At this point I am quite sure he has charted out Greer's lies and constantly evolving narrative. To actually keep track of Greer's shit you probably need a decent Project Manager software. Is there a particular software suite for TardLaw?

Hardin's Greer Tracker!

For tomorrow, Greer has been pretty adamant about not giving Hardin one red cent so I don't think he'll pay since the judge didn't outright say the case would be dismissed if he failed to pay. The only reason he paid the filing fee to the court was because the judge explicitly said the case would be dismissed if he didn't. Since this is the only case Greer has managed to get past the first dismissal hurdle, he wants to keep it going for as long as possible.

Alternatively, since Greer's stated reason for not paying Hardin to the court was the payment method, Greer will claim to have mailed Hardin a check with the money but he'll say he just sent it via normal mail or that he goofed up and lost the tracking number for certified mail. When Hardin tells the court that he hasn't gotten any money Greer will plightsperg that he's doing his best and how could the court expect him to mail a check in three weeks?

Greer lives in enough of a fantasy land that he thinks he will get the sanctions overturned eventually. He is so detached from reality that he has trouble separating his fantasies from something that is very obviously true. Which is part of the reason he reacts so vociferously when someone says something bad about him. He cannot handle his image of himself being damaged.

In his mind this lawsuit is already a done deal and the 10th circuit gave him everything he needs. He is going to punish the people who "hurt" him. When he ends up losing something as a result of that lawsuit he just can't handle it.

I think this is how he'll try and get away with not paying the sanctions. He'll delay and lie. I just hope he gets smacked around a lot for it.

Oh God, I hope he goes this route because it could lead to question upon question over things beyond just shipping confirmation; finally FORCING Russ to explain himself. The only reason this case is still going on is the court refuses to call Russ out on a lie. They know what's gonna happen the moment they do, so they're getting all their ducks in a row for the inevitable appeal.

The 10th circuit has done more harm than good for Russell. He should she them for giving him hope.

I'm conjuring up a cool, billion (trillion???) dollar, multimedia IP in my mind right now. Who's with me???

He stated in one of his plightsperg that he had the hearing on his calendar for 2 months. So he knew when the court date was and I guarantee he knows there is money due by tomorrow. He does read this thread afterall. It's how he suddenly learned his key witness was dead.

Not paying Hardin $1500 is about the same as not paying him $1000. He's just going to not pay. So far all the court has done is tell him how much he's not going to pay. No threat of dismissal.

I think Hardin will submit the status after Greer doesn't pay. Greer will respond that he's waiting for Hardin to send him acceptable electronic payment info. He'll state that he inferred this information was coming from an earlier Hardin filing. I suspect he'll also claim the stay on discovery prevented him from asking for this information.

Yeah, Hardin even helpfully reminded them of that in his last filing on Wednesday:

It would be hilarious if Hardin submitted both his response on the motion to dismiss and his status report on the sanction at like noon tomorrow, and then we suddenly get a new filing from Greer complaining that he has until the end of business to make the payment, but since Hardin is such a meanie by filing mean things about him without waiting until midnight, he's not going to pay now. (He also never coughed up for the 2018 Utah docs he was ordered to provide.)

Hardin is probably wrong in the sense that Greer will attempt to ignore the dismissal and keep filing things anyway.
I'd guess Greer would just try to appeal it again, even though he has no idea how to actually do that and only got there last time cause of the DJF. He'll probably desperately email the DJF lawyers again to bring it back to the 10th circuit.

He fires back rapidly, sometimes on the same day, with precise citations that would take hours to dig up. At the very least, he is keeping track of specific facts of record along with the direct citations to them, and I suspect he sometimes pre-drafts responses knowing exactly what ratface is going to do.
Russel would benefit greatly from even a marker board or post-it notes given how many deadlines he's missed.
Russhole would benefit greatly from a savage beating with a crowbar.

Even if he pays the sanctions, the lawsuit has so many ground on which to be dismissed, I can't even remember them all. If this lawsuit isn't dismissed by July 1st, then the American justice system will truly be the joke everyone thinks it is.
