Not really, It's not about speech, its about what is legally fair use. When Matt Hoss sued the Kleins years ago, the Kleins won because their video was ruled fair use due to the fact that they added enough commentary for their video to be considered transformative and so it was was not infringing on Hoss's intellectual property rights. They also didn't specifically post it as a means for people to watch their video instead of Hoss's, which is what Frogan, Kacytron and Denims outright claimed to be doing. Ethan might not have have been very complimentary to Hoss, but that was never the point. And its not the point here. It's not about speech, Ethan isn't suing because the other streamers were mean to him or said insulting things about him.

The point that Ethan is making is that Kaceytron, Frogan and Denims didn't add anything of substance to his video. They just streamed the video and let it play without adding much, if any commentary and they only posted it so people could watch it without having to support Ethan's channel. His basis for the law suits is that what the defendants did is not fair use, not transformative and basically just stealing his material. I'm no lawyer, but but if you look at past precedent about what constitutes transformative content and fair use, he does seem to have a strong case.

As I said above, Hasan and co. are streaming anime such as Death Note and that can destroy everyone's ability to use anime clips and perhaps react content as a whole. They are too stupid to notice that they are going to fuck up free speech with their blatant copyright infringement.
