no it's not.
walking around with visible wads of cash in your pockets is well within your right as a free man. someone mugging you is 100% in the wrong no matter how much cash you are carrying on your person, and your right to self defense against that mugger remains the same as well.

would it be a smart move to do this? no of course not. even though you would be in the right and your actions would be 100% lawful, having to defend yourself against a violent attacker is not a desirable situation. even if you are successful in fending him off, it is not a pleasant experience at all.
