But these are also the kind of people that Starbucks is made for. They don't like coffee. They drink it piss weak loaded up with cream and sugar.

If you want to realize just how bad Starbucks is, try ordering an Americano black or an espresso. Their beans suck and they overroast them. Worse, they're really unreliable in how often they clean their equipment, so the coffee is often just straight up sour and dead.

This is actually my test for any new coffee place the first time, just an Americano or a black cup of coffee. If they can't beat McDonald's, I can do without them. I'd take McDonald's over Starcucks any day.

In this case it is bad. The character was from an era of "make new diverse characters" and that one wound up with the most laughably stupid origin. Stole shit from school, ran from the cops, dropped out of school. Only way it could have been more ridiculous is if she did it with watermelon in her hands.

And of course it was from that time that the New Warriors went woke and were trashed without mercy online. It was so badly received that the comic never came out which is a shame because I really wanted to see the idiocy of the whole thing. For a reference here's the team:

Snowflake - nonbinary black chick with blue hair who is able to throw shurikens made from ice.
Safespace - her brother with the pink hair who is able to create walls of force to protect others, but seemingly not himself.
I don't remember the names of the next two though.
He's "Memelord" as I call him because he's literally connected 24/7 to the internet due to having inhaled "internet gas".
The fat chick is "Snacker" who has the power of diabetes and a backpack that she can pull anything out of and she's always the first to run into trouble. I mean waddle because she's got to be 300 pounds at least.
And then there's "B-Negative" or "Hot Topic" who is like Morbius Jr. He's a living vampire.

This was actually pitched and seriously considered to be a noteworthy comic book. Ironheart is mild compared to this.

I only drink coffee black and the only coffee I will drink from Starbucks is their nitro cold brew. But yeah McDonald's is fine if you want coffee or hell most gas stations go through enough of it that it's okay if you're really needing a cup.

There were 3 issues that didn't go out, so it wasn't just the initial laughter when the crap was announced, they wanted to keep going forward with it. They actually did end up keeping B-Negative around for an appearance in some other comic later on from one of their 50,000 variations of the marvel universe.

There's also a graphic novel from I think 2018 called The Black Mage, written by a black guy, about a black kid that ends up in the confederate version of hogwarts, who has a crow as a familiar named Jim, the main reason the school hates him is because he gets along with the white girl, ends up getting assissted by the spirits of John Henry and Harriet Tubman. It's so fucking absurd the entire thing sounded like it was written by a racist white guy, so finding out it was a black dude who wrote it made it even more hilarious in a shitty b-movie you'd get from a blockbuster video kind of way.

Much like how the extreme left comes off as authoritarian dickheads, the art and crap they try to come up with just ends up looking like some minstrel show shit as well because they have no idea wtf they're doing, so it's just another aspect of horseshoe theory.

So the common points on what makes a bad movie/show for Jack is the following:

- Blatantly says his conspiracies or beliefs are untrue
- Vaguely offensive to his religion
- Story "doesn't make sense" to him
- Doesn't cater to his political views while not really being against them
- Starring actors he doesn't like for some reason.

Also what is up with him saying that R rated action movies are perfectly safe to take families too

You're all forgetting the dumbest part: the only reason she wanted to be like and be better than Tony was specifically because her grade school teacher said she'd never be like him. And this teacher had to be pressured into saying that by Riri; she actually got sad when said teacher said she could fulfill her dreams if she wanted, and Riri begged her to set an impossible goal and essentially be racist towards her, since said teacher was an older white lady.

Gay secret agents and whatever? Okay. They exist. But the whole point was this group was made up of nothing but fags, queers, trannies and whatever else. What is the message they were trying to send? Gay people can be secret agents? The problem with shows like that is how "gay" becomes their defining characteristic. I've mentioned this before but in the Voltron reboot from years ago one of the characters was gay, and a clone. But this was just part of who he was. Shiro didn't go around farting rainbows and acting like a drag queen getting all "in your face" about him being gay. He just happened to like dick and had a boyfriend. Beyond that it was just a part of his character and not his only character trait and too often gay characters have to constantly tell people that they're gay because that's the only reason they exist.

No Ironheart was stupid but then I only say that as an outsider looking in and I haven't actually read any of it nor do I want to.

However the whole Cap'n and Ms. Marvel being rebooted over and over again is 100% business related. It's because "Marvel" is in their name and Marvel comics stole the name of "Captain Marvel" from Fawcett Comics and later on from DC when DC bought the rights. This is why Captain Marvel, as he was known back in the day, now has to be called "Shazam" because Marvel owns the rights to that name and unless they keep pumping out comics with a character named "Captain Marvel" they can be accused of sitting on it and not allowing others to use it.

There's been a half-dozen characters named "Captain Marvel" in comic books and so long as Marvel Comics uses those characters there's nothing DC can do about it.
