Minutes later Ian's senses have recovered from the stun grenade although his sight is blocked by a hood. He feels the rhythmic motion of being on a transport of some kind. A confident voice is heard, "This is Green; we have the target," followed by the digital chirp of a walkie-talkie.

The hood is then removed and Ian sees for the first time who is kidnappers are.

Four men are sitting at the back of what appears to be a van. They're all in black wearing tactical vests and protective gear. The stoutest one of the four speaks.

He pulls off his balaclava. Ian is stunned.
