Didn't the boys spend a show clowning on The Shining? They mocked so many movies. Honestly some of the best shows were them talking about old movies, especially with Patrice.

Heebie Kikeberg lives rent-free in my head and I think about it at least once a week.

Nah, but they did an entire episode doing Vos in the shining I believe. It was during the merger, one of the polished gems in that era. The Shining is one of those movies that they all love.

I believe Rich Vos was doing a gig at 'The Overlook' he didnt get the reference and they just shat on him for a few hours. Classic

Ron & Ant could’ve happened if Keith didn’t fuck it up. Then again, their views are totally different.
That’s on fucking Ant. He should have been smarter and hired someone who knew that the fuck they were doing but no he had to be a nigger and not put any work into his company and expect someone else to run it for him.

I don't think Ronnie was a fan of Ant's constant politics talk, to be honest.
And Ant wouldn't be able to cope with having someone calling him out on his bullshit from the next desk over. Give it a year, and this sniveling spaghetti bender would turn into a significantly faggier Fez, needing for Ron to approve of his every coffin breath.

He'd start comparing Ron to his ex-wife and Ron would lose it. Ron put up with Fez because he loved him like a brother. Ant would not get a pass.

Speaking of old O&A mockery, anyone know what Scott Shannon is up to?
Last I heard he was going to see the boat movie.

I just watched the 13hour video of all the times when Patrice came in the talk about movies recently. That and the supercut of Patrice talking about wrestling or being in studio when they interviewed them are great to kill a full day.

I listen to this supercut every few months and it never fails to make me happy. Patrice could have done movie reviews and made a killing.

Ronnie B. was never big on politics as he really stood more towards the middle as far as things were concerned. He was more concerned about Ant being the funniest radio personality letting the racism and political talk make that apart of Ant’s everyday life and what had happened with him from being funny to just being angry about everything.

No doubt the Colin Flaherty argument Ron had was the peak point of the deteriorated relationship between Cumia and Bennington.

probably saw some Fezzie in that moment.
Ron thinks just like us, he instinctively enjoyed guys like Fezzie and Anthony that we're entertaining and funny in their own ways, as through the years when things started to go downhill when you are forced to listen to someone make the show more about their personal life, it got stale, Ron tried to turn it around with Fez with his psychological puppet control, but it didn't work as Fez was at an almost irreparable state with his mental illness and for us, it gave us some laughs, but you wished that Fez went back to being naturally funny and into the show like the WNEW-WJFK days. With Ant, it is kinda similar deal that Ron saw the path Ant was taking, making everything about race, this, political driviel that, and wished that he just went back to being funny like he was when O&A were at their peak before the firing. But the sad reality is that people change for better or for worse, and no doubt in my mind that Ron has drifted away from any association with Anthony, or not even mentions him in passing.

We're two guys!"
Anthony Cumia, always being oddly sympathetic towards fags was always suspicious, but now I am a full-on believer in the theory that Greg Opie and Patrice O'Neal were the only fully straight guys on the show. I don't think Patrice O'Neal was bisexual, but I think he suspected Anthony had a boner for his chocolate butt. Anthony keeps talking like a gay baby boomer who hates Woke corporate culture. Old gay men tend to be the most rightwing of the LGBT community in general.
