Yeah, the thing is that everything he puts effort into (including the channel to some degree, due to it's content being pussy repellant) is escapism. He has to attack the problem at the root of the depression. The gym is good, that's a good sign, the move out plans are good and might actually force him to make progress if he doesn't chicken out but I would like to see him open another front... getting a drivers license, networking, hag-maxing as practice (he doesn't even need to fuck them, he just needs to buy a few drinks). How do you get over stage freight? You practice your ass off, drink 2 beers and go... and every time the anxiety is less and less. The most frustrating part is that he did this with youtube, you know he understands but he won't even try with women... not in years. There is something else we don't know about, it's deep fear, resentment or both.

On the games I can understand, I feel like he is starting to resent his addiction and it's at once cathartic and lucrative (plus 85% of modern games do blow). On everything else I wish he would be more constructive, he is king of the retard crab bucket and he could organize and help them take control but he knows that means he needs to do the same for himself and that kind of accountability is terrifying.

Yeah burnout on anything is real. He should go to community college as a hedge, it's as good as work experience at Wendy's or w/e he would be doing and it won't be hard for him (aside from the social part which is what he needs most). After watching him play that grindy resource game I'm not sure if he avoids some games because of actual taste or because they would not be profitable to stream/rip on.

ngl i bought a nice gaming rig thought i am gonna play the best games......and ffs i cant find any decent game that i want to play! The only game that my gaming pc was of any use was space marine 2 and I half assed enjoyed it. Even when i set out to pirate a video game? I cant even bother to play the new game any longer for more then a week...like cyberpunk 2077 and days gone. Video games are betting on mindless repetitiveness which will burn you out. I might continue playing cybperpunk after I quit my job (on notice period).
