The "trip" is probably not a trip.

They probably bought a shitty house in Edmonton and are in the process of moving in. Their furniture has not arrived yet so they did a scruffed podcast in their empty basement.

It would make sense really:
  • She can't keep her trap shut and has been talking about how "affordable" real estate is in Canuckistan, especially near Edmonton, in her latest emotional dumping ground of a podcast. They have clearly been looking.

I am not a psychiatrist so I have no clue what he's talking about. Is it about people with ADHD getting easily distracted? It's concerning how often he seems to enter the state of "zoning out" or how some therapy speak would say- he's dissociating.

I've only heard PPP claim this (maybe it's old info) but in this KC episode he mentions Ian already owning a house in Edmonton (16:05)


Maybe they're not indefinitely crashing at Mamma Johma's and are going to move into that house, maybe they're even going to kick out some renters to do it. I guess the youngest he could be is 45 if he started cosmetology school right at 16 years old. (And who knows what the requirements might have been back in the 1990s - might be even more relaxed).
