In fairness this was him repeating what was already in the petition that he was handed. It could be that he's just such a shitty advocate that he didn't realize how odd it would look to highlight that in particular (perhaps because it's the least negative thing in the document)

Or he coached his kids into saying that because how could they not know drugs were in the house if they were clearly visible from the front door according to the bodycam testimonials. I don't like being this critical of people but Nick has proven multiple times that nothing he says should be given any benefit of the doubt.

Yeah obviously the kids are going to deny the drug stuff, even if they aren't coached, because they don't want Mommy and Daddy to get in trouble. What gets me is he isn't reading from the State's document, he's not quoting it he's paraphrasing it from memory. So why even include the "BTW if they test positive it uhhhhh wasn't me, the kids said so"? If he was reading from their document verbatim I might believe that he wasn't trying to get ahead of the positive test, but he basically went out of his way to include that last part so I 100% believe he knew the positive test was coming.

"The kids weren't exposed to drugs - they all said they didn't even know there were drugs in the house" is mitigating. "So if they test positive it must have been the Nanny" is not.

Nick's usefulness to them is over, IMO. He's spilled all the tea he has on Aaron, there's no reason to keep him around any longer. What's more, all he's done recently is get owned by Aaron/Keanu, giving them wins and making Melton's side look bad by comparison, so it's probably about time for them to cut the cord.
