Shoutout to the Zero Escape series for being over 98% indoors across 3 games
Id like to forget that series exists after ztd. ever17 didnt get ruined at least.
You should really only be into games like Undertale/Deltarune as a child, not as a adult.
Bullet hells? Jrpgs? What do we play as adults? Red dead? Thats "realistic" and gritty only real adults hold up on the stick for 25% of their playthrough waiting for the horse to get them to the next town and then sit through another 30% cutscenes and conversations instead of playing a game.

I miss games with minimalist UIs. Around the PS3/360 era, developers started making UI elements smaller or have them disappear outright unless needed.
Minimalism is fine if implemented appropriately, but they need to stop just making UI elements smaller. I want big fuck-off bars and icons and text that I can easily see in my peripheral vision. Knowing how much health I have left while playing Dark Souls is every bit as vital as the actual character animations.

So many games nowadays seems to be made with computer desk viewing distances in mind that I don't know how console gamers can possibly play them from their couch.

Meanwhile, I'll be playing the same game for a fraction of the price down the line.
I'm really annoyed with Nintendo for not doing this anymore. When I was a kid, a game dropped down to half price a year or so after it came out, so by saving my allowance, doing some extra chores, and setting aside some birthday money, I was able to get games like Banjo Kazooie, Ocarina of Time, and Smash Bros a little later, but at a price that I could afford with some patience. And it meant I could get more gifts since I always went for the cheaper options.

Check out the Warfare mode.

It's like Battlefield with Call of Duty killstreaks.
I tried it, it was awful. Just constantly being shot by enemies I can barely see, often through smoke. Either everyone playing this is eagle-eyed, or there are certain attachments and things I'm not using that make it easy to spot enemies. Either way, it was kind of ugly and extremely chaotic.

It depends on how they interact with it if you ask me. An adult shouldn't be screaming at teens (majority of the fandom for these types of games) about if they are wrong or right about the content of the game. While Undetale/Deltarune are neat it's not some deep philosophical piece of art in fact it wears its themes on its sleeves but again my problem isn't adults being into it it's how they act.

Before you press Matchmaking make sure you uncheck the box 'Grade' above the button otherwise it will be a skill based matchmaking game.

people throwing temper tantrums online whenever a company makes a decision that's disliked has gotten to a point where i find it annoying and exhausting, while some of it is valid its just gotten to a point where any new game is pre-empitevly shit on, I feel like a lot of people in the 12-21 age range were never told no and this is the result of it
I always wait and see if a game is good or not. If it’s not good, i’ll just move on to something that i will enjoy. No need to be eternally pissing and moaning 24/7 when you can be enjoy something else.

70 to 80 dollars for AAA games isn't that bad if the games are actually high quality
In which you've not paid attention for the past 10 years as to how AAA gaming has handled their titles. Clearly you're an expert gaming economist. /sneed

And especially when they are fully aware about how a company behaves after a few releases, so there's that expectancy there. They're just a bunch of spoiled people who'll throw a tantrum over the slightest thing. They're the kind who'll review bomb old games during the days of when the company cared, for absolutely no reason but to prove some fruitless point about how modern day company operates.

And they've suddenly got game development doctrines that somehow make them seem like they're totally knowledgeable about how everything in development works. Just stop talking, you stupid guinea pig with a wallet, because that's what you really are. Your choices are to buy or not buy, it's not that hard.

It is absolutely a shitty feeling to watch your once favorite company go in directions you wouldn't want them going to, but their priorities are profits first, trends second and everything else in a mixed assortment of placements on whatever list they're abiding by. But profits are first and if something is working for another so well, they will try it and we've seen this hundreds of times by now that whenever someone screeches about it happening once again, really does make them look like entitled crybabies.

I don't care for hyperrealism in videogames and I think most of the time it's a waste of development resources and CPU/GPU power. If I want an experience that's 100% true to real life I'll just go outside.
