I'm not gonna lie, Anisa and Her Husband sound exactly like Rekieta does most of the time these days.

He can claim that he was forgoing career advancement in order to stand up for his principles, defend someone he loves and help sex workers, but making an ass out of him self, and bringing distain and ridicule down on himself but his girlfriend, is a bass-ackward way of doing things and had the opposite effect of whatever he he claims he meant to achieve.

I dont believe for a minute that he really knew the outcome was going to be so bad. He'd always been so well respected in the internet community, that he probably thought making a video laying out his reasons why he was OK with then girlfriend having an OF was going to be a rousing success and that everyone's reaction would be "Whoa Ian, we never looked at it in that light before. IIRC, Markiplier muted Ethan on Twitter because of a gif of stuffing donuts with cream and a dirty joke. Then when the PirateSoftware drama was happening and people were clowning on Pirate's fake-ass "second puberty" voice, either Ethan or Hila brought up Markiplier and said he's probably faking it too. It was all obviously joking, but I remember snark was trying to start a war over it and clipping the shit out of it. AFAIK Mark has never said anything at all.
