I think he's promised April and maybe Kayla that it's not coming out. It could be a dambreaker for either of them. April, because she's a dumb whore and looks the part in the footage. Kayla, because of the shame it will bring on her and her household- and what her family will think of her.

The articles and whatnot are embarassing enough, but released footage probably ends up on the local news. Harder for normies at the church to ignore.

Should have left a little wiggle room with that big lie nick, but then I remember one super-chat pointedly asked "were all of these pictures taken on the morning of [day of the arrest]" to which he answered "Yes".

For fun, let's draw a picture based on Nick's own story of what the house situation was like.

The Rekieta house has 8 people in it, 5 children and 3 adults. There's also a dog and a cat. The 3 adults are in a polycule which is starting to break down. Kayla apparently isn't too happy with the attention Nick is paying to April and it's putting a massive strain on their marriage. The adults in the house are also daily drug users. They are doing some combination of coke, molly, weed, nitrous, pills and good old booze with the the hope of experimenting with other drugs like DMT in the future. They had a nanny who was responsible for the general housework as well as taking care of the kids according to Nick. The nanny left months before the raid and Kayla is by her own admission mentally ill and pretty worthless at homemaking/child rearing. Nick states that he becomes the children's primary care giver after the nanny leaves.

So without relying on a party like Aaron or some written description of bodycam footage that we may never get, we can be pretty sure of the general state of the Rekieta crack house. We're supposed to believe the house and kids where fully looked after. The Rekieta's must be built different. Apparently they're fully functional while doing drugs daily. The problem is that we know they weren't functional. People in the community and their family noticed what was happing, we all noticed it too.

It isn't so much whether the person lying thinks the lie is believable or not. At the end of the day they are just looking for whatever little plausible deniability they can find and are hoping to just mislead whatever people they can.

If the criminal element and malicious liars like Nick were smart they wouldn't be put in the situations they often find themselves in in the first place.
 
Please don't accuse me of balldowashing, but with regards to Celeste's pill bottle, it's possible that he just took her empty discarded bottle to use for storing his own "meds" and neglected to tear off the label. This wouldn't be unusual, I've seen it done plenty and I similarly used to store weed in my parent's old antibiotic or steroid bottles (I did however have the sense to remove the labels).

This is legitimately the most broken I've seen him, you can see him choke up and almost cry, he's probably feeling an overwhelming amount of self-pity at that moment. And for a split second I feel bad for him, that's just a human impulse.
I get it, I struggle to change things about myself I don't like too, it's just that they don't involve children, or drugs, or drugged children. Get fucked, Nick.

If the bodycam comes out and it shows Nick clearly used different photos than he claimed then he'll just say "I only posted those to get the haters off my back and away from my family" and his sycophants will say "that makes sense, smart thinking, Nick!"

Definitely would not have been possible to see on the bodycam or else the annotater would've likely said as much. Officers assumed it was a child's medicine which makes me wonder if they read the label? If it's a painkiller or benzo or something, that would immediately IMO indicate it doesn't belong to a child.
