What infuriates me with regards to Kayla is that, at this point, she bloody well should know better. Putting the rosiest possible glasses, you could make the argument that Nick got her into the drugs and swinging and she was too naive/coerced/stupid to know better and the drugs kept her from realizing how bad things were.

But we're past that, now. She had police raid her home. She had CPS take her children. She made her family live in complete filth and chaos, and with the bodycam, we know that the worst speculation about their home was correct- and so does she.

Theoretically, she's straightened out, but whether she has or not, she is living in a house where her husband is still doing drugs around their children, where he is out of control and terrifying for anyone smaller than him to be around, and she is choosing to keep her children around him.
