Just say that they used their fame and their platform to promote the event and the event wouldn't even exist without them and most people in their position would take a salary regardless of the success so this 34% stake is actually really noble and shows dedication to the cause. It's easy to argue why two people who were basically the main driving force of the event get a total of 34% profit share. That's really only 17% per person.

Obviously a lot of those statements fall flat now considering they did a bad job promoting the event and they are responsible for ruining it, Plus they're previous event failed horrifically. But that's what people like Ethan would have argued.

And you'll notice, between the two of them, the wife is the one getting genuinely upset by Anisa's treatment of Ian. She is a good example of why there are so many women in this thread criticizing Anisa. It's because we, as normal women, can confidently say that we would NEVER treat our partner the way Anisa treats hers. You're meant to build your husband up, encourage him to work hard and follow his passions, hype him up in front of others.
