For them to actually impeach they would have to win 13 senate seats, maybe a minimum of like 9 and hope that there are enough neocons still in office to actually impeach him, and with how the senate map looks in 2026 they're going to struggle with even getting two. That's why they weren't able to do it the first two times because they lost senate seats in 2018 due to there being quite a few democrat senators up for grabs in red states. That jeet also revealing the impeachment hand also likely screwed things up.

It's becoming clear as day that a lot of these judges see themselves as the ultimate authority. For that reason, I don't think they understand, either. So if these courts keep trying to overrule everyone else, often against the country's interests like this International Trade Court*, that's what it's going to come down to.

That sounds more ideal, but what would that change in our current circumstance? It would likely cause an even faster legitimacy crisis for the judiciary, but what stops the judges from just cockblocking a law the same way they do an EO? Arguably declaring laws unconstitutional and thus null and void is what the judiciary is more well known for.

Why? Because if I took a time maching back to the 1990s and told them about the PATRIOT act, TSA, FISA courts, and the forever wars, they would have laughed themselves to death.
