My observations from being a parent in the US is that Americans view a baby as a burden that prevents them from doing things they want and isolates them from friends. It's considered an embarrassment to show up to a hangout with a baby.
This may be a YMMV thing. An acquaintance and his wife recently had their latest kid and brought the child to an annual Memorial Day get together. People offered their congratulations or took turns holding the baby, but it could be that we know each other well enough that people don't mind someone in the group having a new baby.

On the flip side, I've seen new parents feel overwhelmed or feel that being new parents change everything and stop going out or intereacting with friends. So, it's not surprising that different groups react differently to people who have a newborn.

I don't think people have an issue with children necessarily. It's more to do with how parents don't parent or discipline their children or ignore obvious signs of children being disruptive in public.
There's not enough check marks to award this statement. I've seen far too many kids be disruptive in public or run around wild where they could easily injure someone by knocking them over -- all while parents are either absent or don't bat an eye over it. I think it's equal parts of: (1) Parents coddling their kids or believing they need to be buddies more than parents, and (2) Parents who wrongly believe that telling their kids, "No," or correcting their inappropriate behavior will somehow traumatize them or be bad for their mental health. Parents who don't do their job is probably a good chunk of the reason kids that turn into adults these days have so many problems functioning in society.

"...and they know we have the right do this."
But he doesn't have the right to do that. He didn't have the correct permits. Just because you are a U.S. Congressman doesn't mean you get to waltz into El Salvador and start making demands. Fuck off with that bullshit.
To stay on-topic with US politics, these Congress folks don't grasp that they are little more than guests when they visit a foreign country - and perhaps dignities special dignitaries at best by virtue of their position back in the US. However, other countries don't take kindly to guests acting like they rule the roost.

It's also ironic that for the Dems worrying about outside interference in the US they seem to think it's totes acceptable to interfere in other countries - whether it's USAID money for LGBTetc overseas musicals or Congressmen demanding foreign nations to send back their deported illegals.

Also, it sees like the only reason the Congressmen are going there is for show and not because they truly care about the guy. Illegals are a dime a dozen; political show means more especially if these politicians are up for reelection during the midterms.

made a pilgrimage to El Salvador to pay homage to the gangbanger.
NON-CITIZENS are getting more face time with reps than their own voting constitutes. :story:

Its hilarious to see how broken they are thinking this is a worthy cause to fight for come election season.

Just rebrand the democrat party the party of illegals and welfare and their platform makes more sense.

It really is sad how my own rep talks more about illegals than the fact that the county seat is overrun with homeless people, shoplifting is up 75%, and you can't use the parking garages because homeless people piss and shit in them. There are public restrooms everywhere but homeless people still piss and shit in public.

Do you want more niggers? Because that's how you get more niggers. Niggers are the largest cohort obtaining abortions. And thank fucking god for that.
I genuinely do not think about niggers in my day to day despite what this website suggests. Dead children in the womb are an abomination.
I love he keeps bringing up the math thing. Look Harvard isn't community college. Its fucking Harvard. You should be the top of your class to get in. You shouldn't need make up classes.

Or if you’re a dumbass you better be a rich and connected enough dumbass to fund your own remedial math tutor.

Then give them an express deportation line to wherever they're allowed to commit their abominations. Everyone wins.

Can you elaborate more on this subject?
I’ve seen a decent amount right wing twitter accounts go after people for being anti porn, I can’t really explain it all to well but it’s certainly strange, probably not a shift or anything just a strange observation I’ve noticed.
