He does realise Lovecraft’s actual thematic focus was cosmic indifference, the terrifying notion that humans are insignificant specks in a cold, unknowable universe. There was no mystery to the human experience, only unspeakable horror. Whenever a character exposes themselves to the unfathomable terror, they suffer gruesome fates for their hubris.
To reduce that to some vague wistfulness about “mystery” is like saying you miss Nietzsche because he reminded you that sometimes people feel sad. Fucking idiot.

This entire sleep issue is such horseshit. Like most mortals, he's sleepy because he's keyboard fucking warrioring until 3-4 AM every morning and is required to be up 4 hours later. Oh, and try taking a walk or going to the gym, you human corpse. It'll make you tired when you're supposed to go to sleep. Most bad stuff happens after 2 AM.
