Adobe has a free program for iOS called Fresco. You should be able to highlight by just setting the opacity to 20% or whatever looks good and brush the size of the text. You have to enable straight lines in an experimental setting.

I am not a phonefag or an applefag, so idk buy a real computer if this doesn't work.

People visiting the parks generally know the "leave no trace" principles, even little children get taught them. Generally anybody into hiking and appreciating nature knows not to litter it up with your garbage.
