Considering that by Tuesday morning KHHS (Kandiyohi [County] Health and Human Services) (CPS) had already summoned Aaron to their offices to be interviewed regarding Nick’s allegations, they seem to be taking it very seriously. That will likely mean speaking to the children.

Nick should have expected this when he started running his lying lips. But he is so overflowing with unearned hubris that he never played the tape forward to consider how his actions could possibly set a new investigation in motion.

Remember, this guy thinks he’s smart and has it all figured out. Kandiyohi County has upwards of a dozen employees who know better.

When you give someone a slap on the wrist to make them go away, what happens when they refuse to go away and keep causing problems for you? Nick really didn't take his five years of probation as the warning and wake up call it was meant to be, he's gonna keep fucking with people until he gets that 28 days in jail, maybe that will sort him out. :optimistic:

"Mr. Rekieta, you describe an incident where the nanny was allegedly heavily intoxicated while the kids were in her care. Why was she allowed to continue employment with you? Did you cover it up for the sake of convenience?"

"Mr Rekieta, you describe the nanny as "abandoning you". This is emotionally charged wording, would you say your relationship with a professional freelance employee was overbearing or overly familiar?"

The local CPS is called KHHS (Kandiyohi (County) Health and Human Services)
CHIPS is a special case type for handling neglect/abuse by parents, with the goal of returning children to a safe home.

I think there's speculation that he wants to blame the messy house and stuff like that on her.
This would be in anticipation to the video being released of his house.
Who knows what goes on in his swiss cheese head, though.

Yeah I think he's trying to paint a narrative about the house being messy due to the Nanny. Mostly to the local people in the area who inevitably will end up seeing the footage.

What’s frustrating about this kind of vague, slippery way of talking isn’t just that it makes honest discussion harder. It’s that the person doing it often seems to think they’re being clever. They’ll word things just vaguely enough so they can later say, “I never actually said that,” as if no one can tell what they were really getting at. But it’s not fooling anyone. Most people can see right through it. The real issue is that they seem to believe this kind of wordplay shows how sharp they are, when really it just makes them come across as insecure and not worth taking seriously.
