Cardboard can be recycled, but you can't have just recycled cardboard. You need virgin pulp for it to actually stick together into a cohesive mass otherwise it just crumbles
If recycling was truly important, we wouldn't have to pay extra for a special can to put certain items into, they would just give us one alongside our regular trash can that gets emptied every week.
You pay for the can?
Here in California the recycling can is free and it’s a fee for the trash and yard waste cans.
I’ll still say nothing beats when I lived in Japan. All you do on trash day is put the bag of trash out front and someone comes and picks it up. No cans, no fees. There are two days for regular trash, two days for recycling, and one day for cardboard. At least that was the set up in my shitty little Shinjuku apartment
"Here's an example of blatant racism you've done"
"Erm I don't think that's actually racist next question"
How exactly do these people keep getting into positions of power?
If Israel takes out Iran's nukes fully with a strike, I'll be laughing that the morons that put anti-semitism so beyond all logic and fact, just pure hated, that yes, Israel vs islamics is like the most iconic comic book good vs evil.
They'll do it too, they'll put Jew hatred above their own lives and support Iran and whine.
Anti-semitism is when you don't trust a nation of insane people that constantly threaten everyone with nukes when there's a possiblity they won't get their way.
I don't support going to war over countries half the world away that never do anything for us. If that makes me whatever buzzword is popular today, so be it.

Who are we going to war against that Israel is against? Palestine isn't even a country. We're allies with most of the more sane nations in that area too.
The worst wars we've had have been against europeans and communists over the last 120 years. The Jews aren't even a factor on 'war' from us. We went to war against Iraq 1st time to defend Kuwait and Saudi, not really Israel. And Israel and Iraq really weren't that at it the 2nd time either.
Iran already hates us, if we support Israel against them that's fine with me. Better than filthy slavs or europeans.
I usually don't even both for voting local. All you see is maybe a sign outside. Usually they aren't even party specific. I used to just pick the top or or random, but I stopped voting for lower tickets I have no idea on. A lot of them are unopposed too. I figure mostly it's the friends and family and if they have a good social network that gets them in.
Especially judges. Has anyone ever voted for a county judge they've heard of? I can see mayors, but a lot it is hard to tell.

My point exactly. You can very easily get into a position of power in basically any city if you run a proper campaign and convince enough of your personal network to chip in. Local elections are the equivalent of selling candy bars for your baseball team, everyone claims they went door to door, but we all know they just had their parents take the box to work.
It would be kind of funny as an experiment to see how much one party could influence the hell out of, say, a town council seat in the middle of nowhere.
Double points if they get something like a chicken elected, like that one Roman senator who was a horse
2014, wtf? This guy was VP and a president and no real screenings? None of this adds up, their either tested and lied or intentionally didn't to screw with everyone. Crazy
Where I am, garbage pickup is included with property tax and if you want a recycle can, it's an extra annual fee. I don't remember how much but it was enough to annoy me into not wanting it.
When I was but a wee little Tater, we lived so far out in the county that there was no garbage pickup available at all, and you had to deal with your own waste by whatever means you could.
My parents and our neighbors would compost everything they could, recycle aluminum cans, and then take a few bags of junk to the local dump (for a small fee) a couple times a year.
In the 90s when TV was lecturing us all about reduce, reuse, recycle I just stared because like? Didn't everyone already do that?

And it turns out if you dig into it that most of the abuses were his subordinates. He actually had to keep tard wrangling the Union Army from shutting down newspapers. At the end of the War they had to send the Army in to stop Unionists in Kentucky and Missouri that loved suspending habeas corpus and didn’t want to go back to trials instead of just lynching everyone they disagreed with.
Regardless of whether any particular idea of Lincoln was good, much less that big question of secession, I’ve come to believe Lincoln really was a normal, chill dude.
One often overlooked stipulation of "love your neighbor" is that it says "love thy neighbor as you love yourself". This isn't just meaningless wordplay, a recurring theme in old and new testaments is that if you hate yourself you're not capable of loving others, and likewise true compassion for others depends on the ability to have compassion for yourself so that you know what compassion even is.
Most of the people who hold these signs probably consider hating themselves to be a requirement for all humans and especially whites so the quote should really be off limits to them.

Also how picky recycle centers are about things? Containers have to be washed out, cardboard can't have any grease on it, etc. If it was so important they'd deal with it themselves.
Any time I feel a little bit guilty for not being more of a eco-warrior, I watch some livestreams of cruise ships and think about how much fuel and pollution those things are allowed to generate, just so people can go on vacation.
My company forces My employees and I to sort the trash and separate out the recyclables for the county to come get. which is fucking useless because about 3/4ths of it goes to the landfill anyway. County only saves the metal, which I'm pretty sure they just sell to the scrap yard anyway (shady business, they will buy railroad scrap and copper line lmao) . its all fake and gay.
He really did. And Confederates of the day despised Booth. Despite all the bloodshed, people back then just did not approve of political assassination; it was considered no better than any other form of murder. See how low we've fallen as a people.
I have a suspicion that Johnson has been subjected to a smear campaign. I can't quite defend it, but it really came to me visiting his homestead in Northeast Tennessee. This was a very humble man (he was a tailor by trade, had a log cabin, very much like Lincoln in background and indeed very close to him in his political ideas), and one of the things he did after the War was start educating the local Blacks and basically trying to build up their community. I just remember thinking, this does not feel like the moustache-twirling villain we're always sold.
I've also become skeptical to the idea people take for granted that the wave of Black crime in Reconstruction was all a pro-Confederate slander, just because we're told today that Black crime is a myth, and it very clearly isn't... Same with the fact that they brush aside the real issue of carpetbagger governments having been extremely corrupt and wrecking the states they infested, poor provision of Black services under their watch and intentionally rigging up the system to deindustrialize the South with differential railroad rates and such. I don't know where to start, but I suspect that in the immediate aftermath of emancipation there was a very real wave of murder/assault/rape/burglary/theft/etc., especially with (I think I'd read something about this) Black militias. Not a case that the 1st KKK/Birth of a Nation/The Clansman type narrative was correct, but that there was some truth in it.

It's also why it's more complicated than "be nice" if you are about to do something stupid you want people to pull you away from the edge not wish you a nice trip.
“When Donald Trump won, many people stopped sending remittances or they began to save money,” he said. “Business dropped off a lot.”
In Cajolá, local leaders say that has raised concerns as remittance flow has stopped young people from migrating because they see economic opportunities they otherwise wouldn’t have. Vail said losing that lifeline would deal a devastating blow to families like his and even cause his small business to fold.
“There’s a lot of fear,” Vail said. “Fear that for the people that live here in Guatemala, there won’t be work because the businesses will be all gone.”
Imagine you live in a shitty little town in Mexico and your town's entire economy depends on illegal immigration in America. And to them the problem isn't that maybe you should try to find some viable way to get your town's economy going but rather that Trump is threatening their shitty little economy by stopping illegals from sending money home.
I got rid of all my Teflon a few years ago. Cast iron only for the pans and some nice stainless clad pots. I also started using a Zero Water filter since they claim it can reduce 90% or so of the PFOA and PFAS. Once I get. my own place, I'd like to get one of those RO systems installed that can do 100%.
I have a carbon filter on my main water line coming in so that even my friggin' toilet bowl is filtered water. The carbon filter looks like a huge oxygen tank. And then I have an RO filter with it's own faucet installed to my kitchen next to the regular sink faucets. The carbon filter on the main line for the entire house was like $6,000 or $7,000 and the RO filter was like another $1200. Best money I spent.
What's hilarious is that I have the main carbon filter feeding the RO filter setup. The company that installed it told me people get one or the other but usually not both. I told him I'm paranoid lol. Every 6 months or so when the RO filter gets changed, it's spotless because I'm already feeding it carbon filtered water lol.
So the shower and watering my lawn and the dishwasher and washing machine, etc all use carbon filtered water. And I use the RO faucet in my kitchen for cooking, making coffee or tea, any time I want water to drink, etc. (Which has affectionately been dubbed the 'bougie faucet' by my fiancée). I've had it three years already and at the very least I feel pretty comfortable knowing that there's a good chance I'm being poisoned less than a person without the setup.
After his experience hearing 100% different prognoses from the first vs. the second hospital with the literal exact same imaging and tests, I will be taking any future major diagnosis for any of my family to the most prestigious research institution available to me for a second opinion. Literally from "oh sorry you're terminal, make your final plans now" to "You might have 10+ years to go." What the fuck.
Yeah, never just fade into the night. Back in the 90s I had a girlfriend whose mother was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer and told to get her affairs in order, that she had months left. I went to my private doctor and asked him if he had an oncologist he could recommend because I didn't trust her mother's. He gave me a good one, she made an appointment, and he was like, "You're pretty bad off, but you're not terminal." and recommended surgery.
They removed a lot of her stomach and she had chemo or radiation (I can't remember) and a bit of a grueling recovery, but she went on to live about another 25 years and died of natural causes in her 80s.
Most people probably don't remember anymore but the left had him in nazi regalia marching up and down as bad or worse than Trump. Any Republican is going to be called a Nazi and Hitler.
Oh yeah - I've made posts about this with tons of photos. Lefties have been calling anything right leaning "Hitler" for years. Check out my post here with the photos -
Indeed. Just because Bush is the flavor of the week for the left because he hates Le Orange Man, people have a short memory. The left never changes its tactics.
I've just been considering something weird. The current most likely Republican candidate after Trump is Vance. Now a lot can happen in 4 years, and he may or may not win, but consider this: The office of the President may completely skip over Gen X.
Naaaa we deserve it. I say this as a disgusted early Gen X'er who came of age in the 80s. While everyone else is out there trying, Gen X is perpetually stuck in our weird little nostalgia bubble, jerking off about how amazing the 80s were and fawning over zoomers who for some weird reason are ridiculously obsessed with the 80s (seriously there are tons of zoomers with instagram accounts where they do nothing but 'dress 80s' and all that crap).
We're stuck in some kind of arrested development. That's why almost every Gen Xer has nothing to show except endless youtube channels where they jerk off over GI Joe or M.A.S.K. or Transformers, or whatever cartoon from their childhood they're still obsessed with. Or endless podcasts about "retro gaming" while the backgrounds of their man caves where they vlog from are loaded with endless lego sculptures and funko pops and 8 bit computer systems, and every toy that they couldn't get for xmas because mommy and daddy both worked so now they're trying to make up for it.
Once Gen Xers were old enough to be the ones calling the shots, what did you get? You got movie studios that stopped being creative and did nothing but try to reboot every fucking IP from our childhood. From GI Joe movies, to Marvel capeshit, to Ghostbusters. To even digging up small time 80s IP like Jem and the Holograms. Even the retarded poster children for Gen X - Kevin Smith and Jon Favreau have done nothing but pump out endless capeshit and he-man cartoons, and non-stop star wars garbage. It's like once Gen X had their moment and grabbed the reins, the best we could do was try to recreate our childhood.
I passed a billboard yesterday for a new Karate Kid movie coming out at the end of the month with Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio. Even Ralph Macchio is trying to milk the shit out his Cobra Kai thing even though it stopped being good from the third season on. Seriously Ralph, your whole career is endless Karate Kid shit and my cousin Vinny.
Even Elon Musk - man, the cyber truck looks like a vehicle from the first tomb raider game and even the logo for the cyber truck looks like some edgy punk anarchy font that I would have carved into the cover of my notebook with a pen when I was in 7th grade. The whole thing is literally some 80s grammar school kid's wet dream sketched out on looseleaf paper made flesh.
We're eternally retarded. It's only fitting that the presidency might miss us. The last thing people want to see is the oval office with a fucking lego star destroyer in the background on a shelf and a skeletor action figure on the desk next to the red button and a president that ends every speech with "And knowing is half the battle".
