Yeah, I really don't get how people say that Darby has aura or charisma. Guy looks and comes off like a pouty 12 year old.

Him being world champ will make AEW look like even more of a joke than it does now. I want AEW to succeed but your world champ looking like a 12 year old isn't good.

Norman Smiley is awesome. Supposedly a super good dude and a legit bad ass, too. Guy knocked out Rick Steiner in a bar fight in Mexico when Steiner was being a dick to him. He's one of the few guys you never hear anything bad about

Even just seeing him the crowd cheers. Guy was awesome and had a ton of charisma

Probably would've been pushed harder if his speaking wasn't so bad and if the whole WCW politics thing didn't happen

With WWE owning WCW's library and currently promoting the WCW YouTube channel, I would hope some of you Vincels might actually watch some good stuff from the past and learn a little, but that is clearly overestimating how trainable you are.

1000% agree here the fact that they are having Moxleys reign drag on just so Darby can come down from Everest is dumb, and im not someone who thinks all small guys suck but Darby is practically a rag doll, I remember there was some smark redditor around the time AEW first started calling Darby vs MJF the next Sting vs Flair, that was complete bullshit and if its wasn't already obvious that wasnt how it was going to turn out its definitely obvious now

shitting saga aside I do not take anyone seriously who uses this term, was the booking in his last 8-10 years shit yes it was, but throwing away everything he was responsible for from 1985-2012ish is absolute retarded nonsense, smarks conveniently ignore that 2 of wrestling's high peroids (Hulkamania and Attitude Era) were under Vince, I am not going to justify all the shit he pulled away from the ring but acting like Vince only ever produced shit reeks of Neckbeard who only cares about his niche indieshit.

WWE is rife with problems, too, but folks on here aren't getting angry if someone says they're sick of Coconut Nigger Theater.

Darby doesn't have any credibility as a top guy. He's definitely over with the AEW fans, but that alone doesn't mean he should be their world champion. He's been presented as a mascot. WWE has the same problem with Jey Uso, I don't give a fuck how many shirts the guy sells or how much the crowd does the yeet shit with him, he isn't world champion material and I'm hoping after this pity run he never gets a world title again. Back to AEW, the easiest solution to the Moxley problem is having Ospreay beat him at the Texas show. He's the top babyface, he's presented as a top guy in that company. For as much yapping as Ospreay does when there's no pressure on him, let him finally try to prove he's a real draw. Waiting for Darby is a mistake.
 
I'm beginning to think that the WWE relationship with Marigold might not last that long considering Rossy just shoot criticized his current world champ for being fat.

Also, the company advertised for girls in the 11-13 range as new trainees when it started up and before Rossy got the boot from Stardom he said he didn't like AZM because she looked like a grown woman despite being promoted as a young up and comer. She was 15 at the time.

Omega and Asuka/Kana have both made barely veiled accusations as to how much of a creep he is. Hunter should probably forget about building NXT Japan with this pedo and just buy NOAH instead.
