I hate how nothing seems to really stick when it comes to trends in clothes, music, movies etc. Even I personally had my own interests, people would talk about whatever new band or group came out for months or a game or movie. Now everyone needs to move onto the next topical discussion of debate, the next meme or movie and show from streaming services. All the accessibility has made things feel hollow and ironically more vapid and lonelier than ever.
It sucks worse when your friend group would endlessly hype up something like a game , and by the time you saved up enough money to get the game (said friends are Normies), theyve moved on to an entirely different obsession.
People who constantly suicide bait.
I've just learned to ignore them and the Debbie downers. No matter how many times you help them out and give advice, all they do is ignore it and wallow in the pigpen day in and day out, without any thought of leaving the pigpen.
Anti-nostalgia faggots.
There's a growing number of people online that completely dismiss anyone's longing for the past in any form with "You're just wearing rose-tinted glasses! You just miss when you were young! There were always problems!" Even despite actual evidence and testimonies to [X] being better in the past. It's beyond infuriating and REEKS of complacency with the status quo and copium, I fucking hate it.
It's mainly left leaning redditors going "ackshually" whenever someone dares to want clown world to be less clowny. They'll do that, or if you mention sports or music, how people are more "technically/athletically gifted" nowadays, while still not being as good as the old guard.
TAX: I have two:
1. How sexualized stuff has been less sexy. Sure I'm coming off as an incel prude here, but there's no subtlety or eroticism. It just seems to be like that fuddruckers to buttfuckers joke in Idiocracy.
2. Everyone hyperfixating on red and green flags. Theyre good to look out for, but now it's just everyone either A.) filming themselves "being a great (insert romantic role here), or B.) showing an edited clip of a random couple for the world to judge.
EDIT: A third would be the lingering fatigue and mucusy cough after a cold. I want to do stuff without wanting a nap every 5 minutes, and it always lingers several days after everything else is fine, no matter how many supplements, vitamin c, or other medicines you throw at it
