He's like a light skinned black from an all white town who starts adorning themselves in Malcom X shirts and gold chains when they get to college. Or a rich kid who decides he's punk rock and buys a bunch of expensive Pretorn shirts and starts hassling people about their knowledge if Against Me records.
He's overcompensating because he's a poser. He's in his forties and decided to have a midlife crisis by pretending to he a high schooler in 2009 (when he was in his late 20s) whose trying to be a standup comedian. He has no real credibility in his scene, he isn't a comedian, he isn't a degen because of his stepfathers beating and his upbringing in foster care. He has no real reason to be a degen, he just decided he is.
So like a kid going and looking for listicles of "best punk rock albums ever" and using his dad's credit card to buy a bunch of records to be in with the scene (remember nothing makes you more legitimate in a scene than spending money), Nick is using his trust fund to speed run a degen lifestyle. He skipped the weed and went straight for mounds of cocaine. Didn't dabble in kinky sex with the wife, just went straight for the wifeswapping. If there was a cheat code in life that made people think nick was cool, nick would sell his kids for it. He so desperately wanted to be viewed as an cool outlaw lifestyle edgelord that he monkeys pawed himself and became an actual outlaw, only the kind that is a cuck and puts his children in mortal danger.
And now he has become the least cool thing you could be in 2025, a literal cuck.

Nick is deliberately stating the most bad-faith worst possible interpretation of Kurt's joke. He's doing it because he hates Kurt and will using anything to get at him, no matter how desperate, and I also think he's doing to snip at the Karen Prudes. He is frequently criticized for associating with Vito "The Pedo" Gesualdi and Patrick (Map)Melton, and so he's trying to attack Kurt as a pedophile as well. But there's several differences between Kurt and Vito and Patrick, which I will now list:
1) Kurt isn't joking about anything illegal. In fact, the joke is based around the fact that he doesn't want any "illegal bitches."
2) Kurt made one single joke on a single livestream that could be interpreted as creepy. If you compare that Patrick Mapton's repeated jokes about Aaron's underage daughter, or Vito's continuous jokes about children and Cuties, Kurt doesn't so look so bad.
3) Kurt made a joke. It was a joke. I don't find it particularly funny, but it was just a single offhanded remark. Patrick and Vito have made jokes, but they have also made serious arguments that make them sound like pedophiles. Patrick Melton unironically defended AI generated CP and argued that "it protected children because satiated pedophilloic urges without harming real children." Vito used to write articles defending loli/shotacon on his old blogs. Vito is also friends with Mr. Girl who writes serious articles defending CP use.
It's a bad faith argument to make Kurt look bad and a false moral equivalency.
Edit: I don't find Kurt's joke to be particularly funny. I just think that a single, offhanded, semi-creepy joke doesn't prove that he wants to drug and rape 17 year old girls, as Nick claims.
The love of his life left him to do a pretend radio show from his basement and the mother of his kids, who he still has to live with despite being roughly as sentient as a sex doll, got banged out by a failed local Minnesota radio DJ who happens to be the same person. On top of all that his parents banned him from seeing his 30 year old crackwhore which was the last connection he even had to the man of his dreams (outside of Kayla's ruined vagina). And the absolute icing on the misery cake, now he has to deal with his five kids bullshit while sober of everything except Adderall and nitrous. If that isn't grounds for a Joker arc, I don't know what is.

At lunch, watched a Kurt stream to get smart about the case, but, hilariously, his ODD against Kurt made him appear pro-prosecution. Chat was not having it because Nick had no idea what he was talking about in this case (see spoiler below). Afternoon was fine; post-court interview with a First Amendment lawyer-friend of Rendazza - was dull.

- He made some weird comment about hiring a lawyer to register your deed for the "house next door," but I wasn't following.
- He was delivered a burrito at some point.
- He didn't realize the court was back. Chat had to tell him.
