This is pretty off topic, but I like the way she did her nails.
Or had them done, I guess. She doesn't seem like the type who would put in the effort to do something like that.

Oh didn't we all have huge fantasy/sci-fi epics that were really terrible at one point?
I had a comic series with my friend that wrote. It involved finding a mecha in the dumpster of a Wal-Mart...and the main character destroying said Wal-Mart.
I had this one silly fantasy of a utopian society of aliens (that were a cheap knockoff of the "Kzinti" from the animated series of "Star Trek"), back when I was a teen in the 90s. And when I was a kid, I made up a character that was essentially a recolor of "Spaceman Spiff" from Calvin and Hobbes. Thank God I never tried to really go anywhere with it.

Goddamn, some lolcows amuse me &/or make me cringe, but Gloria Tesch just makes me rage.

People like Christian Chandler and David Gonterman have legitimate mental and emotional issues. Neither are necessarily retarded or insane, and a great deal of the problems in their lives stem from the fact that they're a couple of lazy, deluded, entitled gits who expect the world to happily wipe their butts for them, however they both genuinely suffer from mental problems, which cause them to act out in an hilarious/embarrassing manner. To a degree, though they know what they're doing, they may not be able to help themselves.

Gloria Tesch is just spoiled.

i want a wallet like that, it's really really cute

Can people stop talking about this woman and just post some more pictures of her half-naked ?

Thanx.
Gloria isn't that pretty.

The image is broken. You may have to reload it.

Y'know, I typically don't say much about people's looks (except Chris), but if Goldielocks is going to keep putting herself out there like she does, well ....

I won't say that she's unattractive. She has a nice bod, honestly. It's just ... there's something about her face that I can't quite put my finger on. I don't know if it's that her cheekbones are too big, or that she looks like she's constantly squinting, but there's something about her face that keeps her out of the Hotness category, and firmly in the Average. If I saw her in a bar or something, sure, she'd turn my head, but she's posed with other women in some of her pics that would get more attention than her.

Now, I know I sound like a pig, but there's a reason for my oinking. Gloria Tesch has decided to put herself out there as some kind of model, which kind I can't say. In the 2012 RNC runway thing, she demonstrated that she can barely walk in high heels, let alone show off the grace that a trained fashion model is paid to demonstrate on a catwalk. We've seen a bunch of photos of her in bikinis and candy-coated underwear and such, but these just seem like random promotional shots, not pictures you would find in a professionally made portfolio. If you're going to try to make it as a model, you need to choose a particular career path, and you need to have that "It" factor, the thing that makes you different, the thing that makes you stand out. This is no different for actors, authors, or filmmakers.

But we don't see the "It" with Gloria Tesch. All she does is decide she wanna be this or she wanna be that - and then, the money is there to make that happen. The talent is not. She can try to make it as a model all she wants, but unless she develops a discipline for what she wants to do, she's just going to be a woman of average attractiveness who will only go as far as she did as an author.

What's a TL;DR summary of what her book series about, in a single sentence?

Also, this has probably already been mentioned in the past 40 pages or so, but there's this one article (not on ED) that says how Gloria would stage photos to make it look like books from her series is in the bestseller section of bookstores.

"Mary and Gary Sue go to the beach discover the magical world of Maradonia, and the second they step foot on it's magical sue-ish soil, everyone goes ape shit because the are the philosophized 'encouragers'." Or, in another sentence, "Derivative crap!!111!!"

And yes she stages photos.

What I find kind of funny is at the bottom of the picture you can see Eragon and Twilight books. Also I could be wrong but it looks like they're in Books-A-Million.

It must've been a weird day for anyone working there at the time. A small group of people coming in with an armful of books, taking pictures at the bestsellers rack, and then peddling their books to the people in the store before leaving (or just leaving as soon as they took the picture).
