This was after I got threadbanned and we lost a day's worth of messages, including Bjorn's, for reasons. I didn't want to be accused of "brigading" for pointing out Synth was still reacting to the thread. I also got the sense from talking to staff that pointing out Synth is reacting might be breaking some thread rule (since clips of him talking about the farms also got swept), so I didn't want to risk it.

Anyway, nothing in the e-mail is particularly surprising, he was already blaming his psycho fans for Kirsche (maybe the "pathetic" part is new?), which is why I think the OP in the lolcow thread would be better served by covering the Kirsche situation more extensively. I did notice that, in between calling his fans jilted lovers, he does mention that the Kirsche situation was an "ethical dilemma", but he doesn't explain why. No "heart of gold" reference, but the "I'm mature" was a nice touch (and very funny considering how he talked about his apology e-mail in his stream).

I am legitimately happy for that guy. If you told me a few years ago DBDR would go homeless and actually become a competent person as a result, I'd look at you as if you were some weird ass schizo. Everything about him is so typical of your average 4chan user: What he says to sound "cool" or "edgy", how he would actually deal with a social situation, his taste in movies and games, his response to any criticism, how he insults his own userbase, how lazy and inefficient he is at everything he does, his political arguments ect.
