I wouldn't necessarily say you're wrong exactly, this is all conjecture and for all we know you could be accurate. I have no clue. All I know is that if she was in my life and I wasn't obligated to care for her I would be running for the hills because she ticks all the behavioral patterns of cluster b generally to me and that shit is terrifying if you've ever had the misfortune to date one. That's partly why to some degree I feel bad for Ian.

That hole is better because you know what you are walking into. You see it and know it is a bad idea to go anywhere near it. Think about it from the perspective of Ian. It's easy to say that he should have known what he was getting into now, but Anisa misrepresented who she was to manipulate him from the start of the relationship. It is a well established fact that Anisa has a pattern of behavior of skinwalking as other women and will discard her "personality" whenever it is convenient for her. I doubt that she acted like she does now when he first fell for her. I can imagine if an average looking girl came along and showed a lot of interest in me and started trying to play into my fantasies/interests I might overlook or ignore the red flags.

I'm a straight woman so i can't speak about anisa's appeal specifically but in a general sense I agree. I can totally imagine getting into a relationship with someone like anisa. What I can't imagine is staying with them for this long while my life crashes and burns. Ian's issue isn't that he ever fell for her, but that he's seemingly submitted to her methods with no resistance. I don't think he's passive, that's not what i'm saying, i think he's a willing participant ATP. But that's only possible because he was weak enough to let her dictate what he believes.

I think others have pointed out that the Tana CC was Anisa's idea and all of his other CCs were "taking sides" with his friends against someone they disliked. I genuinely think Ian has very little in the way of personality and beliefs of his own. The only content that was really him looking back is stuff like bad unboxing and kickstarter vids, essentially goofs and gaffs. And he refuses to go back to that content. His relationship with anisa has led to isolating himself from his real friends and disavowing the small amount of talent he had. I think it's clear that hasan and co aren't Ian's friends, they can barely stand him. He doesn't give a shit about their politics. everything he knows about it comes from Anisa or snark subreddits. He's in it for the grift and the fact that he has nothing left but her. Anisa, on the other hand, probably thinks she's a true believer. But she's just retarded like that. at the end of the day all of these people don't give a shit, they're just retarded commie larpers
