I'm no Biden defender, but he didn't say he started an insurrection, he said that he started with an insurrection, as in at the start of his term he was dealing with the aftermath of Jan 6th.
The answer is long and rambling and doesn't actually answer the question (who cares about all the shit you dealt with as president? Every president has shit to deal with, it has nothing to do with whether your brain is Swiss cheese or not). But that could be grandpa dementia rambling or it could be typical politician answer avoidance. Probably both.

Speaker Johnson reveals his hand and will likely lose the gavel in 2026.

Oh, The Rs are going to absolutely be routed in 2026. I'd love to be wrong but I fully expect we'll lose the House, and more than a third of the Senate will be up for grabs then too. The Dems will circle the wagons, as they always, always do, while the Rs bicker amongst themselves and thereby persuade the voters to "vote their consciences" with predictable results.

I thought this was already done during trials?
I know this is way late but no. Most vaccines are tested against older versions of the same vaccine or a totally different vaccine all together. So they’re kinda juking the stats of adverse reactions. They’ve ruled that it’s “unethical” to use placebo when testing vaccines because to deny the placebo group a “life saving drug” is wrong.

They’re scared to have them tested against placebo because then the amount of adverse reactions will truly be known, making more people rightfully vaccine “hesitant” and slowing the multi billion dollar a year industry that can’t be held liable for injury.

Always count on the RINOs to grasp defeat from the fucking jaws of victory. Trump and Vance really need to tard wrangle them.

While the new Pope is a liberal fag, do not count out the Trump Curse. If he starts peppering Trump in his new position, it's going to magnify and bounce back hard in a year or two. And this is when you keep sending Vance over all the time to Italy just to shake his hand.

You mean Democrat Billionaires like Reid Hoffman and Hansjorg Wyss flood Democrat campaigns with money to spam shitty ads that only appeal to Boomers, the biggest voting bloc. I don't expect them to win the senate though. They'd have to win 4 seats alongside fighting off attempts by Republicans to take the senate seats in Georgia and Michigan. While they can do the later, the former is a much uphill battle for them the only ones that I think they could win are North Carolina and maybe Texas but the Texas Democratic Party is so incompetent and retarded that they keep themselves from winning any big seats. I can't really think of any other seats they could challenge for, yes they just lost in Ohio in 2024 but it's an even more uphill battle for them here in 2026 since they don't have an incumbent here anymore.

>soft drinks

does this mean RFK jr's MAHA will be easier considering they don't add useless shit to these things in britbong land?
I would bet the moves that RFK Jr. is making with regards to food additives were a part of making this deal acceptable to the British. And then that further reinforces what RFK Jr. is doing because he makes our food products easier to trade.

So what does that make you? If you're stuck in a circlejerk of the same people repeating the same hateful garbage and who use thought killers to mock or deride anyone else who disagrees then you're objectively in the same situation. You actually come off a bit worse because boomers don't have the familiarity with the Internet that you do.
And out of nowhere between an unrelated series of back and forth between other posters.
:lossmanjack:
The consensus cracking urge is baked right in, isn't it?

On a charitable take I'll agree, the temptation to just go "Fuck em" and not think it through any further is always there and the reminder to give it thought is not a bad one. But most of the time it's not thoughtful or effort filled things people are saying "Fuck off retard" to, but blatant bait or one liners or something that is just surface level retarded with no further detail.

Disagreement has to have weight and a degree of sincerity to it to be measured and valued.
When it's a drive by fart that dissipates as soon as the elevator door opens it has no inherit form or intent to evaluate it besides that it smelled like shit.

And the person who delivered it's intent was just to cause a stink before running off giggling down the hallway.

Maybe if in this hypothetical, someone can be narrative terminated that easily, then they're using an incredibly predictable script or repeating something posted word for word a dozen times 3 pages back or rehashing something to waste people's goddamn time that's been already explained away or provided information to the contrary with. Because people have engaged with others who are actually putting the work in or at least making it funny. I've said some against the grain shit and had to back it up from time to time and it was business as usual.

Nobody who values their own time or recognizes patterns reasonably wants to engage with something on par with...

"Orange retard make china numba 1 china strong china economy gooder no I will not post information confirming this"
or
"Boomer generation gets too much blame, no I will not elaborate or explain the alternative causes"

I can easily find similar low effort contrarian posts on the botted comments of any MSM article or on reddit with 10K+ updoots, that caliber of keystrokes is not even a thought to engage with, there's nothing TO terminate.
In order to terminate a thought or narrative it has to have legs or the means to go anywhere besides sitting right there like a lump with nothing to grasp onto or elaborate on.

The onus of turning a pile of shit into a sculpture worth contemplating is not on me but the shitter who laid it.

The issue being when you have posters who genuinely do not recognize that any opinions other than their own have weight/sincerity, ie the person in the circlejerk i specifically called out.

same here but the issue being that people stuck in this circlejerk vortex cannot actually think for themselves and will just use thought killers. I personally have made controversial takes and have had to eat my words once or twice, that's the nature of participating and having independent thought.

Yes but you can also terminate a person regardless of their thought of narrative by the means of discounting what someone says regardless of what they said simply due to their identity. this is incredibly common nowadays when people go oh you're X so it's not even worth listening to you.

"We need migrants to keep the NHS funded! Oh, and migrants won't be paying to keep the NHS funded. No refunds."
That's not even the argument bizarrely, it's that we need migrants to work in the NHS and take care of our elderly, an even worse iteration of the idea that America needs illegals to clean toilets and trim lawns because you don't need to be educated to cut the grass or work a plunger at the very least. Example:
Female Indian radiographer at British hospital couldn't X-ray a foot - she'd claimed 23 years' experience on her CV but in fact was a receptionist

Never mind the fact that foreigners treat our old people horribly, but that's a whole other issue, and there's plenty of examples of it happening in America for you to know what I mean.

They leave the concept of immigrants out of the equation when it comes to taxes and whatnot (an argument I'm sure the pro-immigrant lot stopped using at a certain point) because it leads to the uncomfortable fact that they're not paying their fair share to begin with and take more out of it than the average native.

The UK has added restriction after restriction to becoming a citizen and applying for a work visa in the UK over the past 15 years yet the numbers keep climbing higher and higher. The fact of the matter is once Abdul becomes a British citizen in the eyes of law it starts a cascade where 1 Paki deigned with citizenship suddenly burdens the state with an extra 8 or more within a year or two of becoming one.

I'm not sure if it occurs the same in America, but here's how it happens:
First, Abdul becomes Bri'ish after working 5 years and applies for citizenship — he passes the test and becomes a citizen.

Second, Abdul brings over his spouse via family visa, and if both of them (I.E. just him since she'll likely never work) earns over 18.6k a year (minimum wage at 40 hours a week gets you 22k+ a year btw) then you become a citizen in 5 years.

Third, Abdul brings over his parents through a family visa. If they're old enough and get any sort of long term care on the NHS (prescriptions for anything) they then qualify easily for the ADR (adult dependent relative) visa, and then have indefinite right to stay and can claim pension credit and NHS care despite never paying a penny into it their entire lives; since Pakistan largely charges for healthcare and one of the perquisites is that you can't afford healthcare back home, you can already see how easy it is to get this.

Fourth, after Abdul's parents have the right to say via ADR, they're citizens in all but name and so can add 'children' (don't have to be under 18) as dependents here which automatically qualify them for a family visa. Alternatively if their parents moved here on a family visa, their subsequent visa will automatically be granted if they were living with their parents back in Pakistan (there's no way to prove this btw) and get added to the list as dependents.

Fifth, if Abdul's siblings have kids, then they can get added as dependents of the siblings and come over too. If the parents become 'settled' (lived here for more than 5 years on family or work visa) then they automatically become citizens)

Sixth, if the unsettled siblings have a child that is born here, once that child reaches the age of 10, they automatically qualify for citizenship too. Once this child is a citizen, any parent that might not be a citizen yet (maybe they come and go through a visitor visa) can apply and likely become a citizen.

And the clincher? The spouse can do what Abdul did but for her side of the family too.

Some of these visas I mentioned are temporary and require extensions, but they're typically just granted anyway and after a certain length of time you can just qualify for citizenship. A 'skilled worker' visa is something you can apply for if you work in a kebab shop too, which after 5 years you can become a citizen. Visitor visas also allow people to reside in the country legally for 6 months for the price of £127 (or $168) Once it's often the case they earn money under the table via Ubereats and Deliveroo that their sponsor or sponsor's wife filled the profile out for. A lot of them also open up shitty shops or takeaways since working for one still qualifies as work for the accompanying visa.

They've built an entire system here that facilitates the arrival of more of them, the ability for them to work under the table, etcetera. The only thing slowing them down is the fact some of them cost money and some of them have minimum time requirements.

I envy America for making the process of becoming a citizen hard to begin with (for one, employers need to fill out work visas, not the person who wants one like in the UK). I remember when Civnat sensibilities were more in vogue on the Right and people wanted to make this immigration shit easier and merely emphasised the problem was just with illegals. It's easy to legally stay in the UK and it's fucking us.

I hate the View. It’s so deeply classless to ask a plainly doddering old man ‘hey, people say you’re demented, are you?’ I know people will say he deserves it but I can’t bring myself to enjoy an elderly person losing their faculties, it does something to me and it’s very tough on a family. Classless of Jill to haul him around on the tacky talk show circuit too.
