It's so funny how bitter this reads about Undertale. In one paragraph the only compliment he gives to it is "great story" which is about the most milquetoast take about Undertale ever. Everything else isn't a compliment, it's merely an observation, and "the puzzles are ok" sounds like a backhanded compliment at best. Considering he was trying to piggyback his entire gamedev career riding on Toby's coattails, you'd expect a little more humility.

It looks like Here Comes Niko did really well too, it's at Very Positive with 977 reviews. From what I can tell it was made by Stijn and one other person, with help from a publisher. Maybe if this guy were in charge of Heartbound instead of Mald there'd be an actual update tomorrow
