Update on Visiting Pastor Poo. He and his poo wife are currently dealing with "lawyers and immigration while trying to gain US citizenship."
If you ever have the misfortune of seeing him again I want you to ask him a question.
The trick is to fake sincerity and like you are genuinely curious.
"So you would like to immigrate and be a pastor in the US. That is so interesting. Considering there are billions in India that have never heard the good news of the gospel, not to mention the nearly insurmountable humanitarian problems your country faces, what exactly led you to believe it was God's will for you to abandon your own countrymen and come to the US?
There is practically a church on every corner here unlike in India where hindooism is the main religion and millions are dying every year and spending eternity in Hell because they have never accepted Christ."
I suspect he will say something along the lines that America is actually in worse shape than India and thus that is why he came.
"True, America is in great need of repentance and spiritual awakening. I don't think any Christian could deny that. What exactly lead you to believe that you are the man to do it?
I wouldn't know the first thing about sharing Christ with an Indian.
I can understand why missionaries go there, the need is so great.
The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few as the Good Book says.
However the US probably has more Christian ministers per capita than any other country in the world.
Unlike India where hindoo and muslim clergy outnumber Christian ministers by at least 10 to 1."
Make him defend the indefensible.
He wants to live in the US for the higher standard of living and figured Pastor was a job with indoor work, no heavy lifting and sadly no real standards for training.
Him coming to the US to be a minister of the gospel of Christ would be like an Ethiopian wanting to migrate to the US to start a charity that deals with "food deserts" in the inner city.
